A really cool detail in this episode - at 18:54 when the King unleashes his aura a hawk flies off the building. That same hawk is the one that was attacking Komugi at the end, and it represents the King's murderous intent towards Komugi in that moment. But when he arrived at her room and saw her in pain, he realized that he couldn't bear to watch her suffer and symbolically extinguished that notion of hurting her by killing the hawk. I mean, disregard all of that, he actually just used willpower to kill the bird

Fun fact: if you compare this episode or any of the upcoming episodes and played the one where gon and killua meet, you’ll notice the voice actors progressively deepened their voices to match them growing as time flew by. A small little feat, but definitely cool.

19:00 The king's still only a few months old. The royal guard is, too; they've yet to fully mature, so their views and strategies will change, based on their experiences, from here on out. You can already see it in Pouf, as his devotion towards the King ultimately devolves into a maddening obsession.

This is why I’ve been telling you all to pay attention. Gon literally almost killed Morel because he was PRETENDING he was Pitou. Pitou being the royal guard of the king. Hunter x Hunter villains do not join the good guy team, that doesn’t happen. Well, Hisoka is a wild card, he doesn’t count.

@Supanjibobu Watching Hxh made me realize that the roles are so reversed by the end of the season. Gon acts more like a monster/beast as the arc goes on, while Mereum becomes more human as time goes on.

King's speech made sense for a newborn being. Many people may be better than him in many different fields, but he can just wipe those people away with no stress, making his power the strongest ever. BUT the King is not taking emotions into consideration, and emotions are what flawed that speech 1 minute later.

I feel like Rob isn't getting enough love for his input now, he chilled out with all the willpower and is really taking it in. Some stuff takes willpower and it's okay to say and like that. But everyone wanted to hate on him for the willpower (myself included), no one is saying they appreciate him now when it seems like he really took thr criticism to heart. Big respect for that even if this gets lost in the comments

He literally kept talking about willpower in the discussion, but i think he is doing it on purpose at this point. I'm not going to defend any of the haters since i don't represent anyone except myself, However i do get a bit tired of expecting Rob to come up with another Willpower explanation in EVERY reaction they do for HXH. Edit: Also i understant where you are coming from, i appreciate his side of the discussion/reaction, is just that i don't care what he has to say the moment the word Willpower escapes his mouth. If he doesn't want more people to ignore him he should let that joke go I know it doesn't sound fair but that is just how things work around here and it wont change no matter what, trust me.

@@MEMUEROOO I'm cool with that though, he shouldn't change himself to appease other people. And if willpower is an important character trait for him then it's okay to talk about that. The annoyance to me was when it was everything and he brought every action of the show back around to willpower. But I have a lot of respect for anyone who takes criticism and acts on it to try and improve. And I prefer him discussing a moment of willpower that he enjoyed rather than not be himself. Love all of them Edit: Also definitely don't blame anyone for being tired of willpower. Just felt Rob deserved some appreciation since I wasn't seeing much of it

damn we were 24 minutes in and i was pretty excited since willpower wasn't mentioned at all and i thought we would make it through one episode without it then rob was like nope, i had the same reaction as his friends. yeah that spongebob episode was dope

The schedule hasn't been pushed up. Well it has, but only the post-selection schedule. If the plan goes well, the King would be dead by then anyway so it actually makes absolutely no difference to the good guys whether ore not they push the post-selection schedule up.

im not sure but one time they were arguing with him and wellz told him "where you at in anime reactions huh? you getting sleepy" or something like that. so i guess he can't do normal reaction and the anime reactions at the same time because of sleep ? but hey don't quote me on this one because im not very sure.

He's not into anime, he doesn't watch marvel / DC movies either or any of that comics/manga stuff... he's more into non-fiction. But he did watch avatar last airbender / Legend of Korra....
