Hi everyone! As I mentioned in the video; I am now turning on channel memberships and super thanks features. Nothing will change for our non-member subscribers; all of our past and future videos will always be visible and available for all our subscribers to enjoy. This membership feature is just a different way of supporting our channel. Channel membership is a monthly payment (that can be cancelled at any time) to support us and the Super Thanks is a one time only payment. But there is one important thing that I want to clarify. So before making the decision of becoming a channel member or supporting our channel via the Super Thanks feature; please read this message all the way to the end. As you know, our channel has been around for a very long time. But the reason I haven’t turned on these features before is that although most of my expenses are animal related, not all of my earnings from this channel are going to our animals. This is not an animal rescue organization or a non profit association. This is just my personal channel which I make my living from. When I first started this channel in college, it was just a hobby for me. I was uploading very rarely and there were only Walter and Santi back then.. But after graduating from college, this channel evolved into a full time job for me over time and now it’s my only job. (I don’t do my original profession.) So the reason I haven’t turned on these features before is that since we sometimes have animal rescue videos on our channel, I thought people might assume all of their contribution would go to the animals if they supported our channel via those ways. And that’s not true, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable with that. If this was a different kind of channel like travelling/vlogging or anything else for that matter, this wouldn’t be an issue. But we do have rescue videos on our channel and because of those videos, I didn’t feel comfortable enough to turn on those features. So what changed now? As you know, I moved next door to my parents back in 2020 and following that, we were able to combine both our front yards and make a big enclosed living space with an indoor room for all our outdoor cats. And they’ve been living there ever since as you see in our videos. But what you don’t know is we of course came across troubles while building that space. We live in a housing estate where there are separate houses closeby each with gardens (private and shared). While the front yards are considered as private, the backyards are shared space with walkways that can be used by all neighbors. But even though the front yards are considered private, we still had issues with some of the neighbors and the site management. And for the backyards we are not allowed to do much but still we have managed to build a space for Walter. Our luck is that because of the specific location of our house inside the housing estate, there is almost nobody else using our backyard walkways other than us. So we were able to build what you saw in the videos for Walter. Since I came across those problems back then at the beginning and realised that there could be more potential problems in the future (and there definitely were), I bought a land the next year, in 2021. I chose a land that is a little bit far away from the centre but that gave me the opportunity to buy a much bigger sized land compared to the ones in city centre. Our land is kind of like in a village and it is perfect for our needs. My goal is to turn that place into like a farm and move there with all of our animals one day. With noone complaining closeby! :) So the year after that, we enclosed our land with stone walls and planted lots of fruit trees and around one year later we started building a house in that land and the construction is still ongoing today. (You actually saw a glimpse of our land before, back in early 2022, in our video called “cat with the cutest meow has returned” starting from 04:45) It’s a project that will probably take a long time, I don’t know when we’ll be able to move there but after this winter, I’ll start showing you the developments from time to time. We go to our land very frequently and you’ll see the arrangement that’s been done for Walter in that land in those upcoming videos as well. So all our cats and Walter will have much much bigger spaces in our land when we finally move there! So even though that project was (and still is) consuming a lot of money, I haven’t turned on the channel memberships back then either. What changed my mind came later, in April 2023. As you saw in the video above, Pamuk and Princess got sick back then and for the next three months I went to the vet clinics more times than I ever did in my life before. And back then, I realised the fact that as they get older, the expenses will only rise. This might not have been an issue if we only had one or two cats but we have 13 cats in the front yard, 3 inside and God knows how many in the backyard :) So during those months; when all the construction costs and the vet costs piled up together, it occured to me that I needed to be more prepared for these kinds of situations in the future. And as you probably know, I don’t like making sponsorship videos. When you read this, you’ll probably realise that you’ve never seen a product placement or any kind of sponsorship videos on our channel before. It’s not that we don’t receive requests, we do; but I just didn’t want to change the natural vibes of our videos with sponsorships, so we’ve never made one. I don’t know if we’ll ever make one in the future but right now I still feel the same way so still not making any sponsorship videos.. Also, as you know, our channel is mostly filled with videos that each have little stories inside them and include footage that’s been taken over long periods of time. I enjoy making those kinds of videos and I believe you enjoy watching them too. But those kinds of story filled videos get watched less than the more usual/generic cat videos on KZfaq ( like challenge videos, reaction videos etc.). I am not against those kinds of videos btw; we make them too from time to time but we mainly make story filled videos. And I don’t want to change the overall theme and the style of our channel; so in order to be able to keep making the kinds of videos I enjoy making; there is only one option left for our channel and it is to turn on the channel memberships.. And since we are now doing this, I wanted everyone who thinks of contributing to our channel to read all of this first and then decide whether they want to contribute or not. If you do decide on becoming a member, you can do this by clicking on the "Join" button next to our channel name on our channel page or under any of our videos. And if you want to contribute via the Super Thanks feature, you can do this by clicking on the "Thanks" button under any of our videos (under the video player, towards the right). If you don't see these options on mobile devices, you can try it on PC. By the way, if you are thinking of joining our channel or sending your Super Thanks through “Apple devices (ios)”, I would be glad if you could do it on PC, laptop or any non Apple device instead if you also have that option; because Apple also takes a cut in addition to KZfaq itself when you make an in-app purchase in KZfaq app on iPhone, iPad etc… So if you use a non Apple device, there won’t be that cut. I was honestly sinking when I heard Pamuk was sick, that kitty has suck a sweet disposition he is so welcoming to all cats and I don't think he has a mean bone in his body! I love princess too and am soo glad they have both recovered and are doing well. God bless you and all of the fury family ❤

My cats were living in the streets before they decided to move in with me. Their immune system was terribly weak back then and vet visits were a regular parts of our lives. They are doing fine for years now but I still remember those days with dread and hope they never come back.

Pamuk on the mat was delightful to watch- and the burrito was the icing on the cake! So relieved they were both able to come home!

I have 6 indoor rescues (just had to put one to sleep a couple of weeks ago) another FIV+ rescue in his own room, 3 more rescues in a screened porch, everyone can go in and out and 4 more ferals completely outside - spayed and neutered. Holy cow, me myself is just done treating my 3 cats from Feline Parvo Virus (FPV) last week. It was a very scary experience. I always had this "what if I lose my cats" thought during those treatment days. The fear and sadness were no joke. So devastating. Thank God, my cats survived and now back to normal and I want to say the same thing to you and your cats too because I understand how does it feel to treat your beloved cats from illness that can be fatal. Congratulation on the recovery and I hope you and your cats can live a healthy happy life for many years together.

This channel has to be the best on KZfaq. The devotion of this man to his wonderful cat family is incredible. The word saint is often misused, but in his case is entirely justifiable. The care he shows to the house cats, the front garden gang, Zoom and the others in the in the back garden, any animal he finds in trouble (remember Minnav, Dirty Kitten and all the rest (and not forgetting Walter) is just wonderful. His filming talents are worthy of multiple Oscars, and his warmth and humour got me, and I suspect many more, through Covid and other dark times. That laughter, never mocking, just natural delight in his feline family, is better than any pill. Thank you, sir, for all you have done, not just for your animal family but for sharing the joys and occasional sorrows with us.

I noticed something really incredible in this video. You didn’t film Pamuk’s acute sickness nor did you show him on the ground dying. You didn’t even pick up your camera until you saw to his needs. You got him immediately to the vet where he went under full and complete care. Only THEN did you film him. Too many people would have whipped out the camera upon seeing the suffering to document it and you instead whipped out the phone, the carrier, the vet care, and didn’t let him suffer needlessly for one second. THAT is true and pure kindness. Your cats aren’t just props for you or a way to make money. They have a true guardian and benefactor and are very very lucky and loved. I saw the same thing with PJ both when he came as a kitten and when he got his eye scratched by the other cat. You didn’t film him until he was secured, receiving care, food, vet care, and even time with Pamuk. I wish you didn’t live in Turkey. I’d love to shake your hand, buy you a drink, and thank you for showing the world the proper way to love your pets and all animals. I’ll have to do the next best thing. I hope others see what I see and do the same.

I had wondered how you were able to afford the vet bills that must be frightening at times. This is a valid job for a lot of people now and they make their living through memberships, super chats, and donations. There's no need to feel as though you aren't representing yourself honestly! You have many subscribers and if only a portion did the lowest membership you should have a very decent amount of funds coming through. You making a living means those cats and Walter can live their best lives. I am happy to contribute to your continued employment by these furry and endearing dictators! This incident reminds me of the day I came home from work and found one of my cats having a horrific asthma attack. At the time I didn't know what was happening and rushed her to our vet. Over 3k later I had a diagnoses and a poor prognosis. She'd lost over 50% of her lung capacity and the vets said it wasn't likely she'd recover from it. I worked hard to adjust her environment and get rid of all triggers: scented candles, harsh cleaning chemicals, dust, all gone in a month of hard work. I only clean with vinegar, baking soda, and olive oil now. She also gets daily medication to treat her asthma. She's back to clear lungs and a sassy disposition but it is work and the work is worth it when we care so much for our companions just as you clearly do! I look forward to years of stories about the cat gangs and Walter! I appreciate you and the dedication you show to your wonderful friends.

Thank you for sharing about Pamuk and Princess!!! It's so scary and heartrending when any of our fur babies suffer with illness or injuries. We have 3 indoor cats and and live in a 2 bedroom apartment. In late June we saw one of the friendly homeless cats had been in a fight and he was injured. His right eye was a giant bulging red bubble and there were multiple abcesses at the base of his tail. We aren't allowed 4 animals and we live on a small fixed income, but to see a cat in need and not help was unthinkable. He had surgery to remove his eye and antibiotics to conquer the infection. He was neutered. He broke out in hives because he was allergic to the fish in our cat food. So we changed cat food. He is all healed up and filled out. He's a beautiful long legged black & tan tabby kitty. He's full of energy, playful and he warbles and meows when he wants to communicate with people and other cats. We are still paying off the cost of his treatments. Now we need to find him a forever family.
