Of note Wardenclyffe, the site of the Tesla-tower, is currently being redeveloped into a Tesla science center and museum. And while the tower is gone, most of the other buildings are there. They actually are doing a groundbreaking ceremony on the site the day this video goes live (April 27, 2023)

Popular Electronics, July 1964 issue, had an article on how to build a tesla coil. I was 13 and my father had a 6,000 volt transformer used for neon lights (a large sign). When we ran the coil, the neighbors would complain since it affected their radio's and TVs.

Tesla was NOT broke at the end. He practiced an extreme form of vegitarianism at the end and he was malnurished looking probably because his body wasn't getting enough protein. At the end in the start of the 1940's, Tesla maintained three labs that we know nothing about. A "broke" person cant afford to rent space, run, and supply experimental labs.

We DO have this today... you have a cell phone/wifi, don't you? Tesla wasn't a greedy capitalist - he just wanted to better/benefit all of humanity... which is exactly why they shut him down and kept him there until he grew old and died penniless. Then they stole all of his files. The elitist oligarchs will never accept anyone who wants to help people just for the sake of helping without exploitation or personal enrichment. He was an innovative genius and he was generous. He couldn't wrap his head around their personal greed encompassing the greater good because his brain didn't work like that... so they labeled him eccentric, "neurodivergent" and used their money and power to quell him. Just imagine how wonderful the world could've been today if only they'd supported him and let him do his thing. Elon Musk never invented a thing in his life... he only has money - nothing else. Tesla has many great biographies written and before emigrating to USA he was a gambler, often visited brothels and did 3 years of then one of best electrotechnical universities in Austro-Hungaria, so plenty of his "mystery" and "hype" was pushed by himself claiming to have no education and no background what is clearly bullshit. He was a son of a super educated family, lived in central Europe only 2 hours train ride from Croatia capital Zagreb, and 12 hours from Vienna a center of european culture and sciences.

The remaining building on the site, designed by Stanford White, still remains and was acquired in 2013 to eventually be a Tesla Museum. The site is on the national register of historic places. You make no mention that he is the father of AC power and won the "Battle of the Currents" with Edison, sued Edison, and won, sadly he didn't live to enjoy that victory. Not to mention his collaboration with Westinghouse on AC and the Niagra power station!

The 3-phase power system and motors that power the world is Tesla’s most important invention, not the Tesla coil. Also power is not measured in volts but in Watts. The Tesla coil could never send power around the World. The power outages were not due to the high volt outputs of his coil, they were caused by him drawing too much power from the local power plant. Remember, the Tesla coil made no energy of its own.

I couldn’t imagine someone as enormously intelligent as Tesla would confuse other human radio transmissions as Alien. Tesla was made to look like he was mad and deluded.

Maybe he was poisoned with something non life threatening, but no one listened to him much after that. People were much more free in Victorian times. But life was cold and miserable. People had many children back then because of a high mortality rate. Or high functioning autistic. Bless him. See, we need to mend and make do and stop bothering and blowing each other up.?!😢

yes. Math clearly showed, that three phase current has large advantages over two-phase: non-pulsating power transfer, 25% less material needed to build powerlines with 50% higher capacity. But that was actually stolen by Westinghouse and named "Tesla invention" - when Tesla was scared of number 3

One of the most interesting theories I have heard about Tesla is that he inadvertently caused the Tunguska event in 1908 with is Wardenclyffe tower. He was allegedly trying to impress Admiral Robert Perry (Tesla was desperate for financiers) who was on an expedition to the north pole and currently camped at Ellesmere Island. By sending an energy "blast" he hoped to cause some atmospheric lights and effects that he had told Perry to look out for. Apparently the "blast" was too strong and overshot its target, destroying the forest in Tunguska. Not a lot of evidence in general since no expeditions were even able to reach Tunguska until 1927. Fun to think about though
