There was 2 other colour ways that released alongside this Baroque Brown option, there was also the Saturn Gold & Wheat (Travis Scott website exclusive). They all dropped on May 27th & retail for £145/$150. The whole collection is not only super different but each sneaker has really interesting materials. The coloring of the air bubble, the minimalist Travis branding on the box, and the outdoors vibes of the AM1 feel similar to the Cactus Trails 270 which is cool to me. This feel like the elevation of the last air max in a way

Until Travis Scott has his own full line of unique silhouettes, I don’t know if this is exactly an Adidas/Kanye situation. Still love this whole line of collabs, now just to get a 10.5 for retail 😅

I like these ones over the golds. The golds just don’t have enough color in my opinion. I would also like to know why they painted over the air bubble in the full size versions.

its just the aesthetic its kinda like when he came out with the nike air max 270 and painted over the air buble to make it look more vintage. i personally dont mind the painted over air bubble, i have a pair of nike air max 720s and the air bubble is fogged so you cant see through. plus its better for the longevity of the shoe because after a while clear air bubbles start to yellow.

I was lucky on SNKRS for a personal size. Had to see these in hand as I was on the fence about them. Still was not completely convinced in hand so I sold them after debating which to keep out of these, AM1 treeline and AJ3 cardinals (both deadstock). TS release pack is not that great to be honest. The concept is good but the execution did not quite cut it for me and the materials are nothing special

I think the reverse swoosh simply doesn’t work on the airmax 1. Also not a fan of hidden windows. The windows made the airmax line a success.I was thinking about copping them but ended up passing. There are 1s out there within the same price range that are way nicer. I would probably choose the lemon drops out of the 3 but then again,it’s double the price for a shoe that’s just “okay”

I would say that the reason why they have cactus corp branding now instead of travis actual name is because of the astroworld thing but weren’t these made before that even happened ?

Sorry for being off-topic but does anyone have any experience with those 1977 FoG Essentials hoodies? They look dope and i like them very much, however the text 1977 seems to be printed very badly and looks like its gonna tear off after the first couple of washes... I think they choose the Cactus Jack over the Travis Scott logos because of the Astroworld tragedy. People still have a negative association with Travis' name.

I'd say the Cactus branding is just Nike distancing themselves from the controversy of having the Travis Scott name directly on the shoe, everyone knows it's his trainer range, everyone knows it's him getting the cheque, but there's a bit more protection from criticism on Nike's side of things

Most likely an unpopular opinion but those Air Max aren't it. There's only so long flipping a swoosh and throwing brown on a shoe makes it heat. I get the hype but they look like kids sneakers, yet, the kids shoes look better with the unpainted air bubbles. Rock what you like though. Salute.

This Travis Scott line has to be one of the most boring lines to me. Those colorways remind me of something my grandpa would have worn. I also don't like Travis Scott so I'm probably just a biased asshole :P
