Right after 9/11 (and I lost a coworker on the first plane - flight 11), my older sister took me to see Neil Diamond in Bakersfield. I've seen the Who, CSN & Y MANY times, got bored at a Doobie Brothers post concert party when they got back together in the Bay Area in '87 - I'm telling you right now, Neil Diamond's Oct. 2001 concert in Bakersfield was CHARGED, ELECTRIC, EXCITING AND VERY PATRIOTIC - JUST WHAT WE ALL NEEDED. Praying for Neil to know His Savior Lord Yeshua - praying for ALL people lay down their ignorance and pride - ignorance meaning they don't know, not that they are choosing to be stupid - two different things - we're ALL ignorant in some things - praying all people come to know their Savior and Lord Jesus Christ because there is NOTHING and NO ONE more exciting than discovering and knowing and walking in a full relationship with lord Jesus Christ.

After seeing the review of his life on Broadway, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit and I sent a letter and a Bible to Neil Diamond, giving him the Gospel message. I received a thank you from one of his responders. Doubt he ever received it personally. The Lord had put it on my heart after my husband and I went to one of his last concerts before his Parkinson’s diagnosis, but I disobeyed. There was no way I could ignore that prompting after seeing his life in that Broadway play. I pray somehow the Lord will reach him.

FYI, Bob Dylan accepted Jesus back in the 70s, and his fans were not happy about it. He tried attending bible study that came out of the L.A. area Vineyard Church but many at the church and study wouldn't 'curb their enthusiasm' about having a famous musician songwriter in their midst and became an annoyance to Bob, a Messianic Jewish new believer, and Bob stopped attending certain studies. Bob released one of his best albums - a Christian album - but again it was not widely appreciated because it sang about Jesus. I don't know where he is with the Lord now, but THE LORD KNOWS. I went to a Pentecostal church in Germany while I was in the military, and some of the people there sang like angels, it was quite a remarkable experience. When I came back from the military, all other music singers seemed to be lacking, most of them were just trash singers by comparison, just terrible singing in most cases. When they get to heaven if they do, I wonder if any of them will ever want to be singers again, after they hear the angels singing.

I cried out to God three times, after losing both parents in a year to the day almost but I prayed and God extended my father's life till I and my dad had time to talk so again I cried out to God saying "God,God,GOD!!!" and he literally answered me and the LORD God said to me three words back, "IT'S NOT TIME", So loud that my hands had ears and my body vibrated. The Truth and I Lie Not. Then 3weeks later when my Aunt took me in he Literally showed me his Son at 1:45 am . I believe he answered me this way when I think about it because my earthly father used to make me bow down to him and ask for forgiveness and lied to me about many things as if he hated me for he beat me just about every day of my life when I was young and forced me to drink and fight others to make me a man he said . 😞 I don't care if anyone believes me for I know 100% it happened like I said besides it was for me I was never liked anyway people and that was my testimony in the churches and for that they said I had a devil but that is on them not me because I know it is true. Wow! I've been a believer for a long time and I know I am is one of God's names. I've grown up listening to Neil Diamond and I have one of his CDs and The Jazz Singer VHS. But I never made the connection that I am I said was a song about God. Again, I say WOW! I'll be praying for him.

So glad that I listened to the end. My voice mail since 2017 has said something simliar that you must KNOW Jesus like your life depends on it because it does. My Jewish friend in Israel just translated my gospel tract/end times letter into Hebrew to distribute in Israel, and really it is based on your tracts that I have used since 2007. We are in the last days before the rapture, and we need to consider that evangelizing the Jews is very important too. I hope that the young man with the great accent repents and trusts in Jesus Christ, and then he will be getting his glorified body very soon when we fly up to meet Jesus in the clouds. Maranatha.

God always hears our prayers, but we have to be ready to listen when God responds, and we can only listen with our soul and the precondition is that we truly believe and have faith in "I AM":The Way, the Truth, and the life.

What about testimonies that I've heard from people who once disbelieved in God, but at one point asked Him to prove that He is real, and then not only received an answer, but received salvation as well, as Christ was also revealed to them? At the time of their questioning God if He is real, they were still unbelieving, and yet He still responded to them with salvation. I believe the answer lies in Romans 9:15-16 - "For He says to Moses, 'I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy."

Matt, if you happen to see this, it is worth considering that suffering and death are a universal condition of humanity. Even rich people suffer, much as we like to envy them. They still get sick, they still have sick children, all the money in the world can't keep them from dying, and even if they have a charmed life all the way to the end, they still have to face the end. It isn't unfair that we suffer as suffering is universally applied. I have had a child with cancer. I could rail against God if I wanted to. My mother had cancer at the same time, and my husband and I were caregivers to both. We got to keep our child, although she bears the scars, but we lost mom. The thing is suffering is universal. I am not special in what I suffered, nor were they special in what they suffered. People suffer the same and worse all over the world. The question is, does that suffering have any meaning? This world is temporary. No one gets out of here alive. What is the meaning of whatever life we have? If God is real, and heaven is real, then all this life and its suffering is, is a classroom for learning. We either learn to love God and spend eternity with him, or we don't, and we take our pride to hell. If God isn't real, then all this suffering is simply all there is, and an unimaginable horror. Your choice. In heaven, there will be no wheelchairs. There will be no cancer. There will no poverty, no war, no starvation, no sickness, no sorrow, and no tears. I won't let my stubborn pride over believing I don't deserve suffering to keep me from experiencing a heaven that I really don't deserve.

His songs , and titles thereof, mention , Solomon, Holy, Shilo ( a female spirit child playmate, but the true Shilo never leaves you and is peace and joy), and other obvious Bible word references. And he also mocks , but we all have in many ways, though, publishing it is a whole other level. But, point is, hes still among the living and can be saved.

Maybe we should worry less about what happens when we die and more about what we are doing in the moment now! Neil walked in that moment and he spoke the words of his heart in his songs, it seems a stretch to suggest Neil is lost just because he didn’t follow a narrow minded script as defined by men who wish to define god by their own corrupted standard, I am sure the man on the cross has Neil in his heart and Neil knows the heavenly embrace!
