Hello dear! Am an doctor from India! And after seeing this video I feel sad for you brother doctors,merit should always be preferred. Luckily in India pathway is totally merit based - Neet-Ug exam ( mcq based exam of 720 marks an all India merit list is prepared from scores and colleges are allotted for mbbs as per merit and choice) ----> mbbs (4.5 years)---> internship(1 year) for this you don’t have to apply it automatically starts from same college you did mbbs although you can apply for different college if you want---> NEET -Pg exam (800 marks mcq exam from 19 subjects of mbbs, an all India merit list is prepared solely on scores and u as per your score you can choose residency of your choice through a centralised counselling)---> 3 year broad speciality training example medicine , general surgery, obg, radiology, ent, ophthalmology,dermatology,orthopaedics etc ---> NEET Super speciality EXAM --> merit list based allotment to speciality like cardiology, neurosurgery further 3 year training But totally merit based no Jack jugad, for example on 5 march 2023 neetpg exam held and 2.2 lakh mbbs doctors gave exam-- I got all India rank 5867 -- considering previous trends I can get internal medicine seat in a periphery govt medical college but general surgery in a renowned govt medical college through a centralised counselling about to happen in July!

FCPS from private hospitals doesn't require you to go through the CIP, right? But the salary is comparatively low. Any idea on the exact figures?
