What happens after the Race? 100 miles of pulling ribbon

4 жыл бұрынThe Desert Raiders meet after the 2020 Oreana 100 to take down the race course. It's a lot of work! We get on our bikes and take it all down. No trace left behind. The Desert Raiders, SIDRA Racing, and the Kurt Caselli Foundation have done a great job to keep the racers safe with adequate course markings. It takes a lot of people to make it happen!

We also mark a 100 mile hare and hound with the Trailblazers MC in Northern Nevada. Months before the event we tie ribbon to wood clothes pins. Then we string them on a rope and wear the full ropes like a sash. Then just clip them to bushes and it’s easy on/easy off, back on to the rope. And as for the wood stakes and lath, we have these surveyor “quivers” that are super easy to load and unload on the trail without help from a second person. Follow me for more tips and tricks! 😂
