In my country they say... you can remove them if you want after 22 mounth, recommends atleast 13 years (there are no rules against taking them away) BUT know that your teeth will start moving again AKA your smile will start shift again as time goes on... Doctors say "Nightime for lifetime" to not see you come back crying after 5 - 10 years asking for braces! ALSO if you DO NOT wear the restainers after you done with braces for at least two mounth your braces would be for absolutly nothing... back to square 0!

We are getting teeth fixed so we can live "normally" and using retainers everyday kinda defeats the purpose

@@xThePHINIXx im getting braces mostly because its shared to floss and keep teeth clean when they are crucked. I don't give a fuck what people say about me or my teeth. NO one is Normal, everyone is chaotic and different.

for me I don't give a fuck if someone does go into my room and looks at my teeth, but I rather wear what ever is the comfy ist at night or I would not be able to sleep. the white ones look the comfyist

I wore my retainers at night and in the morning it was going down my throat like I was swallowing it! I was terrified! I had to yank it out with my fingers from sliding down my throat! I never wore retainer at night anymore.. too scared it would happen again! Don’t want to choke on a retainer!

its not that bad and the more you wear it the less you have to wear it. but the less you wear it, the more you should wear it. if you wear it less and it feels tight wear it way more until it feels easy and not tight.

What If 1-5 years post treatment you need another retainer but you aren't near your orthodontic center?

just at night when you sleep and for the first month of having them you need to wear them for most of the day + night but only for the first month or so

its not that bad. the more you wear it the less you have to wear it. but the less you wear it, the more you should wear it. if you wear it less and it feels tight wear it way more until it feels easy and not tight. this is what I have been told to do. 22hours for 1 mounth then ya can start wearing it for 4 nights in a week and then 1 night in a week. the less you wear it most likely it will feel tight and if so wear it more again like every night or and even in the day and night. but after a while you can go back to onces a week or just every night if ya want
