Makes me wish there would be a feature were depending on how many spies or turncoats you have they'd all revel themselves all at once or in groups. Like say you had 12 spies and 4 betraying bodyguards at a fortress, the 12 spies would have like a prominent ringleader or two that would introduce themselves in behalf of the spies at the the fortress, a mass revel with maybe a few cutscenes showing other spies within this group doing some sabotaging of the enemy warlords defenses, turning other orcs to your (the player's) side and generally sowing chaos from within as stronghold is being attacked. As for the bodyguards betraying if you only had one among 4 as a turncoat, you could order them to attempt a assassination but it would be very risky, with all 4 turned however well you could potentially end a battle before it started with your inside 'men' (or orcs..) presenting the defeated warlord to you as a prize, alive or as a bloody, ugly head on a pike. These actions would have the benifit of long term strategic saving of assets and resources for other campaigns and endeavors with the downsides of initial investments into creating spies and inserting double agents. I'd also like to see less micro managment of your orc forces and commanders or atleast a much less tedious affair of ordering your underlings to do things, like maybe a message system of letters and runners to relay orders. Heck I'd even like to allow my orc officers to take initiative with some objectives as long as they meet a broad target goal (or broad target goals) you set for them, basically settling matters in their own ways, (still meeting you demands just not allways as expected) could lead to interesting if sometimes headache inducung misadventures. Atleast I think it'd be nice to expand on the options and scenarios that would and could play out in future titles. **Example: Think how a hot headed war chief vs a more calculating war chief might accomplish a similar goal of taking a small outpost or fort. The former would probably just rush in and kill everyone within while the latter would try and convince the garrison to surrender without a fight or else seek a way to sneak into the stronghold with a small force of 'men' (orcs) to take their foes by surprise while not risking potential heavy losses with a more direct assault.**

@Mango Dynamite so true. I remember I kept getting ambushed by this really tough shield bearer. Literally no way to get behind him. He ended up ambushing me when I had my body guard and and 2 other legendarys around. Let's just say he got fucked.

Rakshit Sinha just kill the current warchiefs and place your own. Hardest part is if they die in the fight pit during their trial, then just dominate the one that won instead and try again.

I found once a strong one in the pits...he just didn't care about 25 lvl difference! Slaughtered everything I put in his way, so I recruited and promoted him. He became resistant to anything! Then he betrayed me .... needed 10 attempts to kill him!

Meh, I only care about one orc I’m max level so I just slaughter anyone who has iron will, or shame them till I can recruit them again

Once I got betrayed by three captains at once. I killed the first two but the last one beat me and became legendary. I struggled to kill him for ages since then.

I’ve seen it in a video before. He still attacks you, but since he is yours you can simply hold B to get him to kneel before you and then just ask him to retreat, instantly winning the fortress battle

@@Dead_Weight21 I mean, Shadow of War already handles a fairly large number of orcs on screen. With a bit of technological black magic, it may be possible on current hardware.

It would be simple to do, just have their AI be more complex based on proximity and number near the player, and have it balance out based on hardware. An alternative is the Dynasty Warriors style of having huge clumps of regular soldiers with basic AI and Officers/Heroes with advanced AI and abilities.

You go to the army select them and drag the mouse or whatever to the warchief spot and it says "infiltrate" press ok and it will create a mission to prove your follower's strenght in a pit fight. If your follower wins he gets promoted to warchief and therefore is a spy in the fortress
