The funny part is that while the other characters call out Chai for quitting, Korsica is aware of the game stopping and Chai acknowledges the player's existence

That's because Korsica and Chai are kindred spirits. She's sticks, he's guitar. They both like jokes/puns. They both have hardware in their chests that keep them alive. She really likes him as a person, etc.

@johnbishop2536 In all honesty, there was probably a version of the game where you switch between playing as Chai and as Korsica. It's really exciting that this game is a 10/10 because you just know they'll green light a sequel, and the devs can put in even more of what they want

My favorite one of this is when Peppermint tries to retcon this as 808 summoning Chai back to the hideout, but then Chai reminds her that in another optional talk she says 808 can't do that. Then Peppermint gets frustrated bc it would have been a perfect explanation

I went back to the title screen between every track and discovered these little meta moments like this happen after/during almost every level, especially later in the game. It's a fun example of the attention to detail that went into this, and arguably impressive considering they mostly just use it as a punchline.

my favorite one is where CNMN talks about the lack of continuity. it made me laugh super hard. it’s amazing how much dialogue there is in the hideout during tracks that you can easily miss entirely. someone who does levels in one go somehow is missing out on the pure joy that was coming back to a save to see what stupid bullshit the characters would say. I have not had this much love for a game in a while, so happy hifi has been successful.

tons of streamers have covered this game by now and even thought it first "shadow dropped" without much noticed,it has now become an example of a good Action jump and run game for many. Also many acknowledge that it does all the tropes in the right ways and it gives of a great 80/90th vibe. Personally i wouldnt mind a revival of a rock era in music and style and also games that go at a more Positive vibe instead of all the dark and dreadful stuff we always got over the last 5-8 years or so. I think feel-good games like this really could benefit People.

I loved when replaying the level where you meet Macaron, I used him to destroy the armored robot before the meeting and CNMN pointed out that it shouldnt be possible. After destroying it they reproduce themselves the actual cinematic to meet Macaron. This game is awesome

The one that caught me off-guard was in the middle of track 3 when you first fight the big tank enemy with a z-shield. If you do that fight again after you beat the game and summon Macaron, CNMN comments that you haven’t met Macaron yet and are cheating by calling him in before the meeting. I was honestly shook because I was high😂😂😂

Reminded me of that evil within 2 joke where Sebastian and the bald dude are discussing, and the bald dude just wants to stay in the marrow because it's safe, but Sebastian replies with "Maybe, but there is evil within too" and then they both look at the player... Then I remembered it's the same developers.

Finished it and its absolutely fantastic.. Great humor, gameplay and soundtrack. A new fresh original game that does something actually new made by a triple A studio??? Gues miracles do still exist. Here's hoping they continue with this kind of innovation.

I usually end my play sessions when I get back into the hideout. Yesterday I had to stop right before the security climb (Track 7). When I was able to play again, I’m in the hideout and the characters calling me out for taking a break was amazing! I was like “ARE THEY SCOLDING ME FOR STOPPING IN THE MIDDLE OF A STAGE???” I love this game so much

There is a funny dialogue if you quit mid stage when when rising to Corsica room. Chai says something like: "Its great being able to take a rest in the hideout mid jailbreak" I really laughed my ass off when they comment how nonsensical some game features are in the context of the story.
