Are you seriously confused by fall damage? Venom isn’t supposed to jump from that high, and he’s powerful anyway. MJ isn’t ever high enough to hurt her in her mission so they didn’t think it’d be needed. And young Peter doesn’t actually web swing.

For people womdering about MJ landing fine, its because fall damage is enabled, so the Spider-Men fall flat and since MJ isnt supposed to get anywhere she can fall like this, she has no fall damage animations

@@Tony-hv8wz Bruhhhh. It’s a story mode game. I’m pretty much sure you’re supposed to have a PLOT. She was supposed to survive attacks from Hunters and an angry symbiote. If she didn’t, IT WOULDN’T BE A STORY, Would it? It’s not your game, it’s insomniac’s game. So go and tell the writers how you want them to do their job and stop EXPECTING A STORY TO EXIST WITH PLOT.

Incase anybody hasn't played this and is confused about MJ: the only (tiny) part of this game where you play as MJ is a little stealth mission where you go around with a tazer (her """gun""" in this) and knock out a bunch of guards by sneaking up around them. There arent many if any parts of the scene where it is even possible for MJ to fall, so her falling animation is just the one from if she were to jump and land normally (like regular humans do lol). Its interesting though that it still makes the crator where she lands. I guess that the developers coded the crator to the fall distance rather than the characters themselves to save themselves some trouble. Makes sense cause most people would never see that it would activate from a great enough height on MJ. "Nah no weirdo would throw MJ off a building.." ☠️

To those wondering how MJ survived: Because her segments are all stealth-based, with little extreme altitude changes, I'm guessing the devs just didn't bother giving her any sort of fall damage, since it'd never come into play.
