What happens to an inverted aquarium when it freezes ? we let it go to find out. Fish Tanks & ice. This week the beast from the east has arrived bringing extremely low temperatures and buckets of snow which is great & really putting our inverted aquarium through all weather testing & so far is doing amazing. Today the inverted aquarium is letting in air from the bottom because of all the snow but the tank is also creating a wonderful ice dome inside. The indoor aquarium also freezes it is so cold but all the fish are doing fine & are now in an ice free aquarium. Thanks to everyone for liking and subscribing to our channel & stay safe in the storm.

Should have emptied that inverted tank..covered it and added a heater to pond..my goodness I'm glad I watched..I will be careful when I make mine..live and learn

Could be due to the ice being less dense than water so the paddling pool will be less dense than the water in the tank causing it to move from tank to pond? Feck knows, I just made that up, lol

hello mate i think the weight of snow & ice has squashed the edge of the paddling pool allowing the air in but i dont know neither lol!!

a heater has now been added so there is no chance of it feezing anymore thank goodness & all the fish are doing fine, cheers for watching!!!
