Well Ada's the one he spent most of his night with. People tend to form stronger bonds with each other during times of hardship. Leon and Claire probably would've ended up with each other if they had gone through more together.

for anyone who didnt know Leon was Sherry's legal guardian (father figure) for quite a while till Simmons took her away for observation ( he didn't call it that). So yeah the whole Leon doin the dad glare at Jake is reasonable.

I think I rember that Sherry was used as blackmail or something simalr to that effect agaisnt Leon but I never knew he became her legal guardian.

He was never a "legal guardian" to Sherry at all. After a short period of time just after Claire went her separate ways, the US government arrived at the scene and took both Leon and Sherry into custody. This is further explained in the Darkside Chronicles in some files you unlock. They got Sherry in order to do further research on her post-infection for well over a decade as they gave Leon no other choice but to work for them. Adam Benford was a senior government agent at the time and he was the one who interviewed Leon, while his best friend, Derek Simmons, (at the time) was assigned to watch Sherry over the years. Simmons even let Claire have some visits for Sherry from time to time (as explained in one of the files from RE6). But yeah I understand Leon having more of a father relationship with Sherry since he felt guilty for having let Sherry be into custody by the US government for intense, yet traumatic researching.

People saw him as a cheap ripoff of Wesker. He got Wesker's abilites and all but his looks is way off until he put those black shades. That's when people oohhh... the shades. The black shades help people to acknowledge that Jake is Wesker's son. Big win for the shades.

When I look at Sherry in RE 6 I just feel so proud. Her parents were never really there for her. She saw her dad mutate and die in front of her. She kissed her dead mother’s cheek and had to leave the body in her laboratory. Got persecuted by a fat crazy old man and still managed to escape. And now, look at her, saving Wesker’s son, saving the world with a vaccine, and of course, saving the owner of the antibodies, Jake Muller. Sherry Birkin is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated characters in the game. For me, she’s a legendary woman that can’t be forgotten.

The original is canon. The remakes (aside from RE1 Remake) are reimaginings and exist within their own continuity. Leon, Claire, and sherry had much more interaction during RE2 with each other.

According to RE 6 files Claire stayed close to Sherry through her life even though she was in custody by the governament, I'm pretty sure Leon did the same thing when he wasn't busy with his work since he was also forced to become an agent.

I love this, the footage of 6 sliced with memories of 2 Remake. 6 was a great game and it was faithful to the RE Lore. I also love that Sherry and Jake are working together the same way that their fathers, Wesker and Birkin, were working together behind the scenes during RE0.

2:10 so Sherry is adorable girl and had a pitiful memory when she was child. In this circumstance, she felt grateful with Claire and Claire's action was so admirable. I really liked this embrace, it was warm. Claire saved her get out of Infection and Leon gave her a new life with assistance from US Goverment

In my opinion one of the mistakes of the Resident evil 2 remake was the Leon only meet Sherry in the Train, since in Resident evil 6 Sherry says several times that Leon and Claire saved her in Raccon City, but in the remake Leon did not do anything to save her, different from the original where at least he takes her to the train while Claire searches for the vaccine , If Capcom is not planning to remake the entire saga this and other details have only made a hole in the story. Sorry any mistake, English isn't my first language

In Leon A (Only seen Leon A and Claire B so far) Leon's first fight with Birkin after you defeat him a ladder falls. "Someone's Watching Me." Afterwards we bump into Ada, and are forced to assume it was her. But Ada was never near there, Sherry was. Likely Leon saved Sherry there without realizing he did.
