I'm a driver for an o/o who contracts out with RXO. RAM Promaster 3500 transmission finally gave way after 200k+ miles on my way to an early morning delivery in Chattanooga Tennessee. Had to call dispatch, gave them my location, and they sent a tow truck which was nearly 2 hours away. Luckily I was carrying very light freight at 285 pounds, one skid. Even more luckily, was that I was about less than 30 miles away from the drop off location. Got towed to the location at about 6am and they unloaded me. Even more luckily, the nearest transmission shop was only about 4 miles away so the tow truck driver gave me a tow there after I had got unloaded. Waited for the shop to open at 8 and 2 weeks later I'm back on the road with a rebuilt transmission. Feels like brand new!

Your birthday and we get the present. There's a good lesson here. Last time I got barbecue, I got a full rack of ribs. I drove out to the coast, ate the whole rack and then took a nap. I only regret the barbecue I have not eaten!
