In this episode I explore an abandoned water park with my cast net and it's full of fish!

Here's a fun bingo card for the comment section...
1) "Everyone knows where you are" comments. I know, it's not a secret, but saying "undisclosed location" is gonna make so many people comment.
2) "You're not throwing the net right" comments. Don't care.
3) "You're not letting it sink" comments. Yes I am.
4) "You're trespassing/breaking the law" comments. I don't care.
5) "You should have gone down the slide" comments. I seriously thought about it, was too scared I'd get injured.

I used to watch all the fishing shows on Sat and Sun back in the 90s and on one of the shows gone fishing he actually fished in a man made river in a mall and was catching all kinds of fish. It reminds me of the Lazy River you got the bass in. Great Video.

Man I'd love to turn that place into a bigass aquaponics farm! The layout would be absolutely awesome for setting up a bunch of different zones for different fish, and lots of grow beds around the water. I could grow a crazy amount of organic veggies and fruits there and barely ever use any water from outside.

I used to work for the USDA ARS and our unit's research is developing environmentally and economically friendly and sustainable farm practices. A quote from our much loved and respected unit leader: "Build it and they will come." And indeed, the wildlife did come to our created wetlands systems, including fish. Fish eggs or escaped fish brought by birds, frogs, etc.

Water park was developed then after it was almost complete and they started looking at running water to the park it was found it would have cost more than the owners were willing to spend so they cut there loses. It would have cost to much to get water to it due to no city water access
