► In the world of Pokemon, it is every professor's dream to see the young trainers they bestow the high tech Pokedex encyclopedia someday return to their lab with every entry completed. In previous videos linked above, I have already explored what happens when you complete the Pokedex in every main series Pokemon game (Red,Blue,Yellow,Gold,Silver,Crystal,Ruby,Sapphire,Emerald,Diamond,Pearl,Platinum,Black,White,Black and White2, X,Y, Sun, Moon, and Ultra Sun and Moon) and today, I'll be continuing that series by covering the remake games! We'll be finding out what actually happens when you complete the Pokedex! What do you get? How do the professors react? Today, I'll be playing through Pokemon Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen, Pokemon HeartGold and Soul Silver, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee and seeing what happens, what kinds of rewards and how people react to a completed Pokedex! About the Pokedex!
► The Pokédex is a digital encyclopedia created by Professor Oak as an invaluable tool to Trainers in the Pokémon world. It gives information about all Pokémon in the world that are contained in its database, although it differs in how it acquires and presents information over the different media. However, they are also only given to a few Trainers at a time, generally to the ones that are felt to have exceptional potential and skill. There are different types of Pokédexes and each Pokédex is special to a specific region. Pokédex entries typically describe a Pokémon in only two or three sentences. They may give background information on the habitat or activities of a Pokémon in the wild or other information on the Pokémon's history or anatomy. Pokédex entries also include height, weight, cry, footprint (prior to Generation VI), location, other forms, and a picture of the Pokémon. (Bulbapedia)

@Ask User no you can’t unless you trade him from ruby or emerald,in 3rd gen you can get Groudon only in Ruby and Emerald.Groudon can be caught only in the 2nd gen remakes(to be more specific only in Soul Silver)which are 4th gen games.

I prefer Pokemon R/S/E's version. I believe it came when you completed the Hoenn Dex but you were given the choice between one of the 3 Johto starters. Quite possibly the most rewarding experience I had growing up playing these games and not having easy access to trade other people

Something that I have always wondered is that if you can use a mythical Pokémon to make up for not having another Pokémon. If you didn't catch Electabuzz, but had a Mew, that is still a whole 150, so would it count?

It's like the developers made most of the professors not really care and repetitive so that they can actually be the ones who truly reward you and appreciate you, which makes it feel more personal on a meta level

I like the diplomas but for the amount of time and effort it takes to complete a pokedex I feel the diplomas are kind of whack as a reward. They should give you a bundle of rare candies or another master ball for completing the regional dex.

Wish they made a Pokémon game that you could explore all the regions, collect all the Pokémon beat all the gyms. And when you go to a new region, you get a new starter and basically have to restart, but are able to get all the starters

God, this video reminds of how much of a nightmare it was to complete the Sinnoh dex in Platinum, with an additional 56 Pokémon from other generations and that goddamn Manaphy in that Pokémon mansion near Hearthow city. Good thing they changed it in HGSS, where you don't have to complete the dex to access post game routes.

You wasted 50 dollars for the Pokeball Plus and Mew, and not only Mew, and remember if you didn't want to waste your money you shouldn't buy the Pokémon Plus that wasn't it was not mandatory

I’m pretty sure he hacks all the games in these videos. He doesn’t go out and get each individual Pokémon legitimately.

@Oscar P Hinojosa that’s obvious,in some of these games you can’t even complete legally the Pokédex,How do you get mew,celebi,jirachi and deoxys in fire red and leaf green without using cheats or glitches?Most likely tho he used cheats to autocomplete the Pokédex.

Random thought: How many different Pokéballs can you legally obtain a species of Pokémon in? Maybe only choose 1 or 2 Pokémon for this experiment since 809 would be too many

I didn't know you can get the Shiny Charm in LGPE after getting only the Kanto 'Dex completed. That encourages me to save money to get a Switch and a copy of one of the games someday.

The building with Sun/Moon references also has orange/blue cushions all over the place. I guess that is actually another reference to Sun/Moon, because those are the main colors of the seventh generation games.

also I think there’s another certificate you can get in ORAS! Except you need to transfer a Pokémon over from the Hoenn region to the sinnoh region and then to the unova region and then to ORAS! And by Hoenn I mean Pokémon RSE, and by sinnoh I mean DPPT, and by unova I mean BW and BW2, And by Hoenn again I mean Pokémon bank!
