i have trauma from my experience in behavioral health hospitals. i dont know how to write it out or how to describe it because i feel as though it’s not real trauma but every time i drive by that hospital i feel a big knot in my throat. thank you for having the courage to share your experience with others.

Mentally and emotionally his life had become overwhelming and surreal. Pride ,shame ineptitude balanced on the edge of nowhere . The only good memories were captured in the solace of a place only imagined and the hero he found there had also failed. nowhere

I have battled with depression sense i was 12 it not easy because now when i have kids there going to ask about the scars on my wrist and i will have to make them understand and i dont want them to hate me for it. I am trying now to be better but it so difficult to say that i am okay when i feel like i am drowning and i have know one to save me.

Being in hospital for an attempt is horrible. I got sectioned to a psych ward for it. And now im medicated and broken. Im lost . And im never gonna be fixed :)

I've been to a hospital for a suicide attempt and the behaviour of doctors and nurses there was so berating and indifferent, judgemental. I hate doctors and med practitioners since then tbh.

I said all my trauma, bullying, heartbreak, betrayal memories to my classmate girl but she doesn't like me. I attempted suicide by overdosing my anti depressant. I was experiencing seizure as side effects She even knows this. I started self harming after 2 months clean. Bipolar depression is severe. Suicidal since 16 i am 21 now

never been. Although I did try to go the psychiatrist. he never proscribed me any pills (thankfully) but it felt like my session was really about doing paperwork and then being asked about that paperwork. There wasn't really any talk about what was going on. He even seemed offended that i was distracted by this weird glowing jellyfish in a jar thing he had.

(Three Hours Later) Hello sir, what medication do you think you need? I don't know, I'm not a Doctor. Anyway, I need and wantsomeone to talk to, not pills. We're all out of "people to talk to" I'm afraid. Here is a number to call, if you don't want medication there isn't much else we can do. Okay bye
