I didn't realize until now that I think I had a mimic encounter a few times. When I was a teenager, I would hear my mom calling for me from downstairs but when I would go to the stairs to see what she wanted, she wasn't there and never called me. Sometimes I would ask what but never got a response. This happened a few times my teen years but stopped when I moved out

There’s a very interesting concept because I was a kid I heard somebody mimic my sister‘s voice and call for my name. I’ve told the story a few times but my other sister heard the same thing and we went looking to see if she was home or parked outside and she was not there. It wasn’t until we called her job which was 45 min away , we realized that she was in the bathroom cleaning

I've seen many mimics move. My little brother saw me walking away from him once, and when he followed and rounded the corner, it was gone. He doesn't usually talk about that kinda stuff, and he was pretty freaked out. I've seen different ones mimic both my brothers, and they all moved. I've heard a ton of mimics and gone towards them, but they never had the balls to step up 🤭 I always just end up telling it to leave

Dear God girl, you really are hard work

Saw a mimic of my best friend playing hide and seek with him... (2013) Turns out i was hiding, when i decide to take a peek at the street i saw, that he was smiling (madly) in stillness staring at me.. i hide myself again thinking my next move to evade him but when i take another peek he disapeared... Turns out it was not him since he told me later that he did not searched for me on the area that i saw "him" and said to me that he did not saw me eitherway. We were playing on the streets in plain daylight by the way... With people on the streets and car traffic.

I remember there is a paranormal pod cast that they had a whole episode on mimics, I think it was the Beliefhole, not sure. They read from a book of a guy that had researched the mimics matter, after an experience that happened in his childhood. He had heard his father calling him from a nearby forest, while his dad was actually at his job the whole time. Probably something tried to lure him? Super creepy, I was freaked out during the entire podcast episode.

Experienced the same thing a few times when I was younger, heard my parents calling for me, I always responded but I never followed the voice, been so long I forgot about it.

This isn’t my experience but this happened to my parents when I was younger. I was inside the house and I don’t remember if I was trying to reach out to my mom inside my head but. My parent said they heard a voice in my voice saying my parent name to them. They told me when they came back inside. I was like hmm.

5 years ago i heard my mothers voice telling me to wait while i was trying to use the bathroom. the door is closed and i keep on waiting and waiting thinking that my mom is inside, it shocked me after i see my mom wasnt in the bathroom and i realized the bathroom is empty. later on after she passed away i keep on hearing her voice from the far distance calling my nickname that she used to call me. (sry for the bad english lol)

I do believe that my dad heard a mimic. He told me he answered and heard me laughing. I was at the other side of the house while this happened.

That happened to me like when I was at the bathroom and and the girl babysit was with me outside the bathroom cause she whants to go to the bathroom so while using the bathroom I heard my grandma called so I said what and it did not answer me so I finished using the bathroom and me and the girl I babysit when to my grandma and she said I never called u and me and the girl i babysit both heard it so like we got scared 😨

The Mimic looked just like you only with Black Eyes. You stood in fear as the Mimic walked over to you. The Mimic got down on one knee and untied both of your Sneakers, then it disappears. I can't remember what happened after that

Hi Brittney I've been a fan of your for a while now and I've actually heard a Mimic call out to me back in either 2020 or 2021. But the weird thing is that the voice the Mimic used was my dead grandpa's voice and the even weirder thing was that at the time I was on a google duo call with a few of my friend from school so they saw me freak out for a few minutes. So could it be a Mimic or was it my grandpa trying to my attention? I guess I will never know.

Oh, I was just watching a video of tiktok compilations by Courtney Jades that had a mimic in one of the videos. The voice mimics though. Physical mimics/doppelgangers would be way more creepy. I haven't seen mimic videos like that yet, where the husband, whatever family member comes home and hear the mimic say hello to him and it would seem like that's the person, but for the wife to actually be upstairs, that is creepy. Sometimes my mom will come to me and ask if I called for her and I'll be all like, uh no. The odd thing is when I do actually call her name, she doesn't always respond.

i think I had an experience with a mimic. i was alone home and I was at the toilet watching videos with my headphones on. 10 minutes later, i heard my mom's voice calling my name like she was looking for me. at the moment, i thought she was home from work early and was looking for me because I wasn't in my room so I answered. i was like "hey mom, I'm here". no response so I said again "mom, I'm in the bathroom" and still no response (i wasn't scared, i was kinda annoyed cause I thought she couldn't hear me) so once again I said "mom? I'm in the bathroom, if you need anything come here". at that point, i still had my headphones on but once i didn't hear a response for the third time, i took em off in order to be able to hear if she was responding. once i took them off , I realised that i didn't hear the front door closing (i live in a 50 year old apartment and when the front door closes, it makes a big noise and you can feel the vibration due to how heavy the door is). the only thing I heard was my name being called. i got really freaked out and low key sprinted to my room cause I realised that I invited whatever called my name to come to the bathroom if it needed anything. is this considered an experience with a mimic? idk..
