Rhythm game engine bolted to a skateboarding engine. Also I did start working on sustains for open notes before I released the open notes hack but I couldn't figure out why they weren't showing up so I eventually said fuck it, they were only ever used on a couple bass tracks, people can deal without them. If you open the zones file you'll see the open sustain textures if you look for them.

Ton Hawk's and guitar Hero 3 probably uses the same engine

It's actually wild to me that most people playing CH now don't know how much of a damn pain it was to add songs, and having it sometimes corrupt a language so you had to play in Korean or something lmao

it was also the fact that you could only hold 800 or so songs on a language until it corrupted, forcing you to delete your save file for that language LOL

I've been on the community for a long time, but honestly I don't have a good PC to run GH3, so I never bothered to learn how to use ghtcp, until CH I was able to immerse full into the current experience of the game

I was a part of the community for a while, granted it was when I was between 6-11, but I got back into the games at the end of summer since I still had working copies of GH2 and rocks the 80's for ps2, so I bought a GH2 guitar on amazon, and then when I found out my cousin still had some of his old guitars and drums for 360 I asked him to let me take them since he doesn't use them anymore, I re-bought some of the games, for 360, and now it's like I'm 10 years old again with faster fingers. The laptop we have in my house is completely fucked, so I'm just waiting to get a laptop for when I go to college to play clone hero.

So I never played a Guitar Hero or Rock Band until Clone Hero. But seeing the long ass complicated method of adding customs to GH3 threw me back to my childhood playing mods of other games. Thanks for memory lane brown man

ExileLord modded them in along with open notes. GH3+ adds support for them. Edit: you also need GH3+ just to load Soulless 5, as it has more than 4000 notes it would crash on vanilla GH3PC
