I have been pushing the limits of the genealogy system for The Sims 4 for a while now, so it seems like a natural next step to play around with this system in a world that is filled with just clones!
In this video we will be making 2 full households of female clones and 2 full households of male clones. Many tests will be conducted in this video, including seeing what happens when identical clones of the same gender have a baby together and what the family tree looks like when you add marriages and babies!

It would have been interesting if the Lusky×Lusk pregnancy had had 1 girl and 2 boys (to see what the male version of the clone would look like & to see if they would come out the exact same as each other), and if the Hammondy×Hammond pregnancy had had 1 boy and 2 girls (again, to see what a female version of the clone would look like & to see if the two would come out the same).

small detail, but Get to Work actually has real "clones" as a relationship type via Scientist career. Also, 2 identical sim's in CAS using the genetics tool to generate family members almost always comes up with slightly different looking sims.

I was doing a family tree challenge to get as many duplicates on the tree as possible, and the game somehow let my sim have a baby with his grandma. I was so hype but once she gave birth the baby glitched out of my game :(

As a genealogist who does genetic genealogy as well, I find these so damn funny. I actually watched most of your other videos before I even touched any of the let's jack up the genealogy ones, and for me it's been like saving the best for last. I know the Sims genetics aren't as detailed as in the past (during Sims 2, thanks Google because I'm too GD old to remember), but something about this particular video (I'm not sure what it was about this one, because I've watched probably 3/4s of your genetics vids by now) and me reading up on the genetics in the older games makes me wish it was a little closer to realistic. That said, I'm sure there are things we still don't know buried in the code. That's me saying, please never stop these videos because they're a damn riot. And finally, an article popped up last week about two pairs of real world identical twins got married and each have one infant daughter. And DEAR GOD do I (and people also in my field) want to see all of their genomes, especially the baby cousins. That probably sounds creepy AF, but it's strictly about the genetics not the people themselves. It's not like it's *that* uncommon, we're just now to the point that we can look at with actual technology, what is identical and what is not. (That said, there are always anomalies with genetics, and the super science brains are constantly finding new shit as tech makes it possible to see new genetic forms beyond the double helix aka shit that is way TF above my pay grade of understanding.) Um, now that this veered into what is probably incredibly boring, I'm just gonna say ya you for making awesome videos that make me laugh and boogie on out of here ✌️

The purple smoke means the toilet has been pranked and will break/spew water at them if they use it. It's annoying as fuck, any Sim in the household that likes mischief will prank the toilets almost 24/7 🙄

My Sims do it autonomously to their own fricken toilets and I made them all dislike mischief and no one is a “goofball”. Only way around it that I’ve found it to upgrade the SHIT out of the toilet so it can’t break. They still do it and giggle like idiots. 🙄

You can make Sims married in mc command center. You have to chest the level then go to add relationship, select sim and click husband/wife

I did something similar. I did it with 3 female clones with blue hair. They had different names starting with K, but same last name. All 3 had kids together. 1 kid has blonde hair, 1 has black hair, another has brunette. Lol they are kids still

But now this video begs the question, if you created a household with 4 clones of the same sim and had those clones have one male and one female child, then had the boy and girl have a child that is the same gender as the original clones would the child end up looking exactly the same as the clones?

You should put 1, 2, 3 etc by the names but match the numbers with the respecting partner and then the other house hold like a b c etc

PRETTY funny you're doing a clones video. I've just spent the last 3 days oing just this thing LOL!!! I wanted to see how messy they'd get but they just have bad attitudes. No real problems at all by clone #7...on any of the households I did it in. I used both normal Sims and CC Sims....a bit of a let down, I was kind of hoping for Neanderthals LOL

Did that* and done that** but not together. *Did a house full of 8 Clement Frosts - Father Winter. **Done, turning off 'Fill Houses' to stop new NPC's showing a weird combination of outfits from my mods library :D LOL

For what would happen if two clones of same gender had a child of opposite gender as them, I have an answer! Well, I've tried only once but I think it's just gonna be the same result for every try. I made Caleb Vatore have a child with a clone of himself because I was feeling funky that day. I have no mods in my game, so he just kinda had a girl. I aged her up and oh lord was she something. Literally. She was something, that's for sure, but not something worth being called a Vatore... Her name is Stella and she lives in my biggest save. Since she is a vampire, she has been there since my gen 2 and she is friends with a few of my sims that are currently still alive. May not be a looker (minimal eyes, strange face structure, oddly small pupils, unusual mouth shape and size) but a pretty chill gal once you get to know her. She will take you fishing for a date but then whip out the expensive wine lmao.

There will always be homeless sims. You can't delete them, because the game will always spawn new ones. I have tried it, but no matter what I tried, there were even children spawning, all homeless. Some times even living on an empty lot.

With sims and mods anything is possible. But in the tangible world a clone can only be reproduced scientifically. I can't find more information than that (do they not have sex organs?}. hmmm
