Your so right that Zinc heated up and turned into gas is very poisonous. It doesn't look live he has good ventilation or fans in this video. Plus he should be telling his fellow followers not to point laser in someone eyes. Whoops I mean heating up galvanized metal can cause death or health issue's so be very careful. And not weld the metal because of how dangerous it could be.

I love how your needlenose pliers show perfectly how adding resistance in a point will create a longer process to heat up as the heat travels through your needlenose instead of just piling on the nail! So it looks like 2 points meeting 1 instead of the electricity just evenly passing through it.

Just make sure you hold your breath! I've been told you shouldn't heat up galvanized metal because the gas released by the zinc plating is toxic.

As a carpenter my dad only uses galvanized nails and screws cause he’s extra like that. But after seeing this makes me wonder if we should be using less conductive material. I mean after 1k amps and it still took a sec to get red put me at ease just a little.

Your dad, as a carpenter, will never get into a situation in which the conductivity of the nail would put him at risk of danger or death. Unless he’s slamming spikes into the 240 for the breaker box, in which your dad is stupid or suicidal.
