I've got the ultimate test today, what happens when you put a foreign disc in a gamestop refurbished Star Wars Xbox 360?? I just recently bought this refurbished console from GameStop, and now I'm ready to put it to the test. So far, it's working, but I'm not expecting too much more out of it (because, you know, gamestop).

Refurbished console from gamestop isn't always faulty i got my xbox 360 refurbished and it work perfectly find its even the pro model i think

Nope they didn't sale you have faulty Xbox 360 it's supposed to play Xbox 360 games only with no problem now the red Dead redemption it's originally from Xbox 360 and they remastered it like you said and it put it on Xbox one and made graphics better with the new gen console. Now on Xbox one they are some games you can play games on the Xbox one because they made it backward compatibility for the Xbox one and everybody knows that you can't play a PlayStation games on Xbox that's just ain't possible it's a whole different brand Xbox is Microsoft PlayStation is Sony

There is a way to view the stuff on the mixed media disc's you just have to press the xbox button to go to the xbox guide and scroll all the way to the media tab and you use the stuff like Video Player, Picture Viewer and Music Player to play the stuff on the mixed media discs.

Jacob R: Just so you know, I saw your foreign disc video 4 the white original Xbox 360, & it did the same “Mixed Media Disc” title on that one too. So I don’t think there is anything wrong with you’re new Xbox 360.

Dude, the Red Dead 1 disc is just a 360 disc with the Xbox one logo slapped on it saying it backwards compatible on Xbox one. Not a Xbox one disc.

All xbox backwardscompatible games like RRD are playable on the 360 and One generation. The One generation however works differently, cause it just scan ur disc. If its a battlefield 3 for example, you can download the game from the store, but still need the disc as a verification of the game u want to play. PlayStation games dont work on the 360, because the ps3 has bluerays instead of dvds

If the 360 used Blu ray then it would say This game is only playable on Xbox One and cannot be played on Xbox 360.

4:43 they didn't remastered the game at all, it's just compatible with both consoles thanks to Xbox One being backwards compatible with many X360 games, they just remade the packaging, they did the same with GTA 4, I have GTA 4 Comple Edition and it says both Xbox One and Xbox 360

I did see black ops 1 and 2 repackaged in Xbox one cases around the time of black ops 4s release. I guess they are for people who want nice neat collections of even sized cases.....or a cash grab.

The XBox One and PS4 both use Blu-ray discs, which the 360 drive does not support.

the xbox 360 and xbox one discs are just regular 360 games with a different cover and label, since backwards compatibility allows it to play on xbox one

All the major studios except for 2 signed contracts to have all there movies to be released on Blu-ray so HD DVD only having 2 studios U can see how it didn't work out. Blu-ray had a massive library of films HD DVD had 2 shelves full of films 😂

The protocol the 360 uses is dvd so obviusly is not gonna even try to read a ps3 ps4 wii u or one game cause are blu rays and 360 laser cant read blu rays, so thats why it appears oppen tray
