Next year for be a pro add in request a trade, ability to play a full season in junior and in Europe, and fix contract negotiations and signings so you can get extensions, just use the screen where you talk to the Gm don’t need a new one for that, you can say let’s talk in a month let’s talk after the dead line or right before free agency or start getting a deal workers out and both parties can back out and lock out from signing, if you don’t sign the team might trade you or you can request one yourself, and add in no trade clauses

Another flaw in BAP is that they still call you "rookie"after your rookie season. And after only my rookie season LA Took the C from Kopitar and gave it to me which does not make much sense

Highly disappointing. I hate how they hype up the game then we get this kind of result. I think I’ll stick with NHL 20 and save money. I’ll wait until Seattle is in the game and they further develop be a pro. It’s a decent start to it, great ideas. But it can be so much better.

The good news is; with all of the improvements they made this year, next years game can put some more focus into free agency and smaller details

I remember back in the day you get to choose between like 5 teams in free agency and could actually change your jersey number. I think they have the perfect vision for the game but will only gradually fix and add certain things each year so we continue to buy the new game.

I think they need to add stat growth for your pro at the end of the season its kind of shitty if you score 50 goals and are some how still only a 79 overall the next season.

Damn, highly disappointing so in the end, after a rookie season it really is only the record book, maybe audio of in game results, the odd interview, and using salary. Kinda lackluster extremely disappointed you can't recommend a team or wait throughout summer etc

Tbh be a pro mode is just cut scenes added to the regular be a pro mode it seems. I was sadened to see that they got rid of the full ohl, whl, qmjhl aspect. You could even do three years in there if u put ur players age as low as u can which i though was cool. I also hate how easy it is to go in the first round from 2 games of playing kinda bs. Also you shouldnt be forced to play in the nhl right of the hop it should be very hard to get into the nhl right off the start and if u dont make it you should go into the minors and once u reach the age u go to ahl if u cant make the nhl. Also i dont like how they dont have the rfa rules in the game like u play three years and now ur a free agent. Oh and i love in nhl19 the game i have idk if its change in the others but ur litterly the best player u do 200pts in a season and u only attract two teams. And the coach will move u down the line i was on the third line at one point and i was the best player in the league. How hard is it to add a part where u talk to ur agent and decide how long u want to play and how much and stuff and get multiple offers if ur an ufa or even get offer sheets when ur an rfa and accept those. It would be so cool and i think if they put all the effort in that over the stupid cut scenes and buying all that bs. It would be alot more acceptable by the community who actually plays be a pro before all this stupid shit got added. And even with all this shit added half the stuff the characters say doesnt actually make sense.

I wish they did what MLB did, where you get an offer from a team, then you can negotiate with teams, and you can skip over viewing your offers then choose your team

in nhl 19 i would score around 20-30 points a game, literally finished two seasons in a row with 500+ points and every time I requested to be traded I would be denied. I usually simulated a few games in a row and would always get sent down to second line, then eventually the AHL, even though I was scoring 20 goals a game when I was actually playing. The whole system with free agency, asking for a trade, and being sent down to the AHL has always made no sense in NHL games.

I like the new be a pro better than the old one. But imo there is to many conversations/interviews. They could make nhl 22 be a pro less interviews, maybe the option to play in europe a couple seasons. Not just the nhl and ahl. And negotiate your contract. Not just have a offer like this every time your contract expires. I want to be able to hit the free agent market and talk to other teams and maybe even european teams.

Gotta improve that to next year.

What about asking for a trade? Some people say its there but don’t explain how and or when it happens.

Would be SOOOOOOOO much better if you could hold out, and have other team offers come in through out the off season, and see if some teams drop out if you waiting too long, or maybe some teams get a bit desperate and come back a 2nd time with a better offer, and obviously, give the player negotiating powers...even if it's pre-generated options like wanting more term, or more money.

this is the one thing I wanted to be changed and it ended up being the one thing that wasn’t changed. I wanted more than 2 contract offers in free agency. It’s always freaking 2. It’s so annoying.

What I'll probably do in career mode is save right before I go into Free Agency and turn off Auto-Save for a few. Then I can at least look at all the teams' stats, get a short-list, and as soon as I go into free agency, be able to re-roll for new contracts. That way, I can get on a team I want still.

I do like this mode it’s good in my opinion just a few things I wish they changed. 1- more than 2 contracts. U get 1 contract with the current team and 1 random team. 2- negotiate contract. (More money/more years) 3- less talking with your coach during the game. It gets really annoying!!!!!!!!! 4- transaction sheet. I wanna see where and when players get traded/signed 5- when it brings you to the contract offer screen, you can’t back out to see whose on the team offering you the contract.

there is always a chance that EA sports will add in new cut scenes to be a pro and the ability to negotiate a contract

When I get to the resign phase it automatically extends my contract 6 years and won't let me go to free agency.

When you simulated the whole season did you still have to do all the interviews and conversations, or can you turn that off?

All that work with be a pro and they leave free agency the way it is.. Hopefully they could add a cutscene next year where you're just sitting around at home or in an office, waiting for your phone to ring

I don’t have any friends with an Xbox so for me I mainly only play be a pro and I was so hyped for this upcoming year and I thought it was gonna be a for sure buy solely for be a pro and I’m so thankful I didn’t buy it. Honestly, NBA 2k is pretty much the same. There are no cutscenes for free agency. You do get to negotiate, but it’s with their “VC”- takes the fun out of it when the highest that can be offered is 1,000 per game and that’s what the first offer is. Of course, the reason I bring up 2k is because that’s seen as the model career mode.

Tbh it’s a big disappointment with how there’s no cut scenes or negotiations but at least the contracts make sense. I couldn’t find one thing wrong with it. Both bridge deals on decent salaries but not too high or too low for the players situation. A 71 overall in the other games would’ve got a 1 year at 850k

It is very disappointing to see you still only get 2 freaking contracts! They need to have re-negotiations throughout the year to try and keep you if they want you to stay with the team. In free agency they need something like the trade deadline in franchise mode. SSuupppeeerrrr Bad on EA's part but I honestly can't complain because of all they did to revamp the mode. I will take the positives over the negatives!

They focused on BAP for the initial season. After that, its literally the same... A surface level improvement. Even then a lot of the promises and benefits are broken or pointless. If you thought you were going to get something of substance from Post 2006 EA, well, you haven't learned..
