Somebody could accused you of a crime. Because there were no evidence, it was dismissed. Now your task is to have those records expunged to clear your name. Countersue. Wow ! There are always something for lawyers !

My stepdad had a domestic charge against him in state of Florida in 1983(39 years ago) with his ex wife. I live in CANADA and I’m filing for my mom to live with me but she is married to him so he automatically tags along. We did a fbi background check and it shows his arrest and it shows that his case was dropped from a felony to a misdemeanor and then it said it Disposition Dismissed( Not Applicable) how do I get that expunged if he lives in the Caribbean if his charge was in the us? I had just gotten my permit after having to wait 3 years and get a sr22 . Got a traffic infraction just a few months before the 3 years was up . The Judge dismissed all but 42-2-140 Driver's License -permit Unauth Person/Dr .no points taken . But now the DMV sent me a letter after I just had my permit for 3 days saying revocation. For involved in a traffic accident that occurred while you were suspended for failure to provide proof of liability SR22. And records indicate that you were convicted of traffic offense occurred while you were under restraint. But the judge dismiss those so do I have to go to a hearing for the DMV. Also I was not involved in a car accident at all.

Why even have a trial if a not guilty finding or a dismissal has the same collateral consequences as going to prison? I had a conviction that was overturned but I am still a convicted felon with all the collateral consequences. It is possible to be considered a convicted murderer even if the remains are thousands of years older than the person. My grandparents knew a man and his wife who found pieces of a skeleton while plowing. They were charged with murder then it was dropped because the bones were 11,000 years old. A background check would show they killed someone in 9000 BC which is not possible. The record should be completely destroyed and not just expunged.

Now, I’ve been wondering, how can I get my brother evicted from my house. It’s my property, I live with my mom and my little brother(who ain’t so little; he’s 22 years old) for years he’s been verbally and physically abusive....Punches holes in the wall and throws stuff around while screaming every slur under the sun....Any little thing could set him off...Someone being too loud, him losing his phone or etc. He Verbally abuses our mother, and in the past 4 months alone has physically assaulted me several times, I have pictures and videos of him hitting me.
