Although I have interests in global economics I don't watch the news anymore... I have enough FUD lol. Thanks for this news and offering your insight on how to navigate during unfortunate times/events like this. You're right about keeping level headed when investing so that's why I think it's important to limit the amount of FUD we consume. I don't watch the media but the news that you present has enough to know issues going on without riding the emotional rollercoaster if I were to watch the news everyday. Now I buy and just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 16 btc from day trading with Kerrie Farrell in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish.....

The sanctions imposed by the West on Russia in the last two years has had the biggest impact on the UK economy not Brexit. The financialization of the economy and de-industrializing i.e. Following Neo-Liberal economics since the 1970s is the biggest culprit. It has only benefitted the Wealthy Elites. Your history omits the single biggest issue in the last 70-80 years - Dollar Dominance! In short - World War I and II bankrupted Europe. The US followed the creditor-orientated "Sanctity of Debt" rules to which European governments had kept. But the Vietnam War threatened to bankrupt the US. So in 1971 President Nixon took the Dollar off the Gold Standard. The key-currency standard based on the Dollar's convertibility was dead. For the next fifty years foreign countries subordinated self interest to finance an increasing indebted US by investing their growth in international reserves in US Treasury IOUs. In the 1970s they did not foresee that one day, an impoverished country with a large population would follow a Mixed economy (with centralized control over the commanding heights of their economy and banks) to become the worlds sole manufacturing superpower- China. Now half the world's population is in the BRICs Area and trading where possible without the Dollar and converting as much of their Dollars and US Treasury Bonds into Gold. The free lunch that the US obtained from the rest of the world by running a structural balance of payment deficit is over. Those countries in the Dollar Area (G7) will suffer the consequences.

Unfortunately, I think this is true. But the US and European countries have to take the blame. They facilitated China and India's (more recently rise to superpower status by off shoring their manufacturing. If the European's were wise they'd try to bring Russia into the European Union. The UK is effectively the 51st state and enjoys the majority of UK foreign ex change and banking. While London attracts the wealthy. In a few years living standards for the West will be realigned to compete with Asia.

Apparently during the outbreak of the war in the 80’s initial plans were to hand over the islands as they were too costly to defend and not really relevant anymore but the vast majority of the people on the island did and do not want to be ruled by Argentina.. So If it wasn’t for the 1000’s of islanders who with generations going back to the start of the island’s habitation could be described as the only legitimate natives I totally agree Uk should give them back. @@Diouzier people of Crimea did vote to be part of Russia. Whether you accept as one person doesn’t matter because your government in UK doesn’t . That’s where double standards come from. When it comes to Falkland, Europeans go thousands of miles to territories far from their border, loot resources, eliminate indigenous people and occupy territories, don’t mean they have right to the land. Whether the island was occupied or not, we don’t really know. What we hear is the narrative of the invaders. Tasmania’s entire indigenous people were eliminated by Brits. United Kingdom is rapidly becoming a multi cultural society, lot of B.N.P. party supporters complain about the U.K. being invaded by the Chinese, Indians, Pakistanis, Nigerians, Jamaicans etc....but we should inquire why and how on earth did they end up in British soil, they came because they are poor in their own countries because the Britishers plundered and looted the natural resources of these countries making them poor, or they arrived in Britain as refugees because of internal civil wars created by the British with their divide and rule policies, like the Tamil Sinhala conflict in Sri Lanka, some years ago there was a demonstration against the B.N.P. party by some Britishers with roots to former colonies, there was a huge thought provoking banner which said " WE ARE HERE BECAUSE YOU WERE THERE".

UK economy is doing quite well post Brexit, only last week we became the worlds 4th largest exporter overtaking France and Japan. The forecast for this year is better than most EU countries. No 1M unemployed no exodus from city of London (foot count up), exports to the EU are up, exports to ROW up and imports from EU down. The remainers just put their fingers in their ears and scream when they hear good economical news for the UK. Remember remainers, there is only one country in the EU with a larger economy than ours and the UK economy is larger than 17 EU countries put together. I'm very happy, I enjoy democracy and my business which is worldwide is doing extremely well, no I do not miss the EU, move on. Brexit to me was just like the Y2 bug, nothing really happened.

The real tragedy of all this is that this planned economic collapse/cultural genocide is that it was all predicted from well before WWII. Why do I say this ? Because in 1972, aged 17yrs I joined the British Army and a year later (having completed my training) was posted to Germany; where I met a beautiful girl named Helga. Her father Konrad was a devout Christian who had served during WWII as a tank driver in the Das Reich SS Division. He was a very impressive man with whom I had many highly interesting/life changing conversations; the central themes of which were that:- In reality rather than propaganda, WWII was actually an European Civil War, fought between two factions; one of which sought to preserve white Christian European culture, and one of which sought to first destroy that culture; and then replace it with a multi-racial Atheistic, Materialistic 'Globalist' regime which would control it's population by financial means (IE:- debt slavery). That the faction seeking to preserve white Christian European culture had been defeated in that civil war, and the result of that defeat would be that my generation would see the destruction of European Culture, and it's replacement by the Globalist Regime which WWII's victors had always intended to establish. At that time I found this difficult to believe, but as the years/decades have passed; it's become evermore obvious to me that Konrad was right, because all across the once white Christian World the same policies have been enacted/enforced; and have all achieved the same results:- 1. Both Christianity and National Identity/Cultures have been attacked, misrepresented and ridiculed; causing the masses to abandon them in favour of Materialistic Atheistic 'Individualism'. 2. A combination of abortion, contraception and mass immigration has been used to first reduce, and then demographically transform those same (once European) populations. 3. Real wages have been consistently forced down, whilst debt has been made evermore easily available; with the result that the masses are now more deeply indebted (and thus more vulnerable) than they've ever been. Result ? I'm now approaching 70yrs of age, but firmly believe that (with white working class Englishmen now being arrested even for holding a Union flag it the street ! ); I'll live to see the internally engineered collapse of the Western World, and it's replacement by a Globalist 'New World Order'; exactly as Konrad predicted more than fifty years ago.

Interesting, more young people have university degrees in the U.K. than the USA, and in Europe the U.K. has 50% more graduates than Germany. Economic forecasts point to the fact that the U.K. will continue to be the second largest economy in Europe after Germany, with growth exceeding France. All countries have problems, the U.K. likes to talk about them more openly. But in fields of new technology such as quantum computing and fusion the country is world leading. And, just to finish, the device you are reading this on is likely to have a chipset design by a British company.

But the bottom line is having a substantial number of graduates and being one of the leading countries in AI and Quantum computing is not enough to salvage an economy, it has many more factors like GDP, Exports etc… to straighten up things in the Economy, by the way U.K. had many European scientists, working which helped U.K. in many scientific areas, but most of them had returned to the European Continent, The French husband of a Polish friend was one. And the other reason is foreign companies which had head offices and had heavily invested in the U.K. were threatened by the E.U. saying any company which doesn’t shift their Head Offices to an E.U. Country and invest in the European Union, shall face a heavy tax, so any company owner with an iota of intelligence will understand that if they don’t adhere to the E.U. warning, will face the wrath of the E.U. which is a huge market.

@@seanvictor736 That is sadly true. Brexit was a terrible mistake and was the result of blaming the EU for the UK’s internal problems. But you cannot ignore the fact that, despite this, the UK economy has not floundered, although individual sectors have fared worse than others. Another point, the UK has just enjoyed over $1 trillion of exports, so your video is a little bit of an exaggeration and to a negative bias. Further and contrary to your video, the UK is also the fourth most innovative nation after the USA, Sweden, and Switzerland. My final point, the UK is a post industrial information and knowledge economy, this is evidenced by the world's second largest exports of services after the USA last year 2023. Please note, this is all fact checked , for you can find out on Wikipedia or any other reputable publications.
