Hey friends and welcome! The holiday season is extremely difficult for many of us. You are not alone in this and your Christmas does not have to look like anyones but your own. You can make it a day of self love, relaxation, reflection, and fill it with whatever other activities you enjoy, skiing, hiking, painting, watching movies, cooking etc! It can also be a day you ask to spend with friends that make you feel loved and appreciated. And please remember no matter how much you ate over the last week or so, your body still deserves nourishment. The holidays are about enjoyment, not about restriction and judgment!

Yu Choy Sum Sauce:
4 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp miso paste
1 tbsp almond butter
2 tsp sriracha ( or to taste )
1-2 tbsp water ( add slowly )
- I added about 1/4 cup of the salted water I blanched the yu choy sum in, but that is optional!

Thank you so much for simple, easy, and delicious recipe ideas. I struggle with what to make and how to balance it. I'm going whole foods Plant based, and Breakfast is fairly easy for me, but I struggle a lot with Lunch and dinner you inspire me so much. I’m vegan but on Christmas I had a quorn roast and it had egg in it. Still trying to find a good vegan Christmas option but it’s still vegetarian. 2023 will be 8 years of being vegetarian

@@Loganrob26 I’ve never had tofurkey products. Will need to have a try. My goal is to be vegan for the whole 2023. I was for 2015-2017 but then went back to vegetarian. Been doing a lot of research and watching cooking vids and I want to eat healthier :)

I just wanted to mention that eating too much tofu can cause bloating and pain. Also it is not so good for the hormones. I got that on my travels when meeting a woman who was specialized on tummy issues and tummy massages.
