I had my wisdom teeth removed last year and one of my favorite things I ate was homemade mashed sweet potatoes. It was so good!! My dad made it for me cause I like sweet potatoes better than regular ones & all he used was sweet potatoes, butter (or vegan butter) and Himalayan salt.

Having one's wisdom teeth out under general anesthesia seems to have become a rite of passage for young adults! Bet it wasn't always like that.

@@lisaruttenberg5886 I only had one impacted one which was removed with just Novocaine and oral sedatives, so I've still got three of SOMETHING back there! But years later I had to get my KIDNEY removed! No escaping general anesthesia for that! But it was fine!

@@lisaruttenberg5886 I was phobic about general anesthesia before my kidney surgery, but not after! "Bring it on", I say!

I have a huge fear of needles, I would’ve made it probably a lot more difficult for the surgeon unintentionally if I never went under! Although my insurance didn’t cover the anesthesia , Im very lucky to have been able afford it out of pocket!

I have to have mine out on Thursday and I'm getting the same 4 teeth out and I've been watching these videos at the year of 2021 to learn more about what kind of experience I should go through

I just got all 4 out with just a numbing shot and it didnt hurt it was honestly soo satisfying: I have a huge fear of choking so I was super worried for 3 weeks before i got it done I wish i dont it sooner lol. Please people dont be scared! It was so easy im Day 1 In and i can eat talk and im just a bit swollen... mine were FULLY out of my gums no cutting needed for anyone else like me whos wisdom teeth werent impacted lol its a blessing. I thanked the dentist after and said eh was great haha he said " no one has ever said that before thank you: what a Nice guy

How long the strong pain after anesthesia wearing off ? Did the worst pain manageable?

They didn’t give me any pain killers I’m stuck with ibprofen

Im on day 3 an i cant get down much but apple sauce 😢 . I had 4 wisdom teeth tacken out but i also had an impacted baby tooth in the roof of my mouth . Everything just hits that spot and its horribleee. Im surprised woth how much ppl can eat after that smoothie would have done me in for sure

I would love to try the Progresso soups but they have GMOs. Amy's makes a great cream of tomato soup with coconut milk and a vegan mushroom bisque, both are great!:))

You're actually not supposed to be having fruit juice so soon because they're highly acidic (pineapple and passion fruit especially) and would delay the healing process...oh well lol
