I invited one of my ex's to my wedding, it was a few years after we had broken up and it was a weird breakup anyway. Neither of us were blaming anyone but we had to move on and the invite was very much a 'permission to be happy if you need it ' because he'd been casually seeing a mutual friend but I know his parents and sister and he seemed to not know what he wants. He attended without the invited plus one, but that's not my purview anymore.

Eh, some people are petty or narcissistic enough to invite an ex they don’t get along with anymore just to take another jab at them. My uncle cheated on his wife of 10 years and eventually divorced her, then invited her to the wedding with the woman he cheated on her with, and he and his new wife were absolutely nasty to her and he admitted that he just wanted her to see what she was missing out on for not being good enough for him. And by not being good enough, he meant not doing everything he wanted all the time.

SHEIN, Temu, Fashionnova, Cider, Aliexpress-they’re all the same, because they source directly from the factories you otherwise purchase from through a middleman (whether that’s online dropshippers masquerading as independent boutiques or H&M). But from an environmental perspective, small scale production of clothing also has massively damaging aspects. More fabric wastage because you can’t cut pieces as efficiently at a smaller scale, sketchier factories with worse practices because you don’t have the scale to afford better even with inflated profit margins, etc. One of the clothing factories that produces for SHEIN in China has onsite childcare and a salon for employees because it’s large enough to support a whole ecosystem. Does that make fast fashion acceptable? ABSOLUTELY not. Fashion as an industry is one of the worst for the environment. But don’t go after companies like SHEIN. Go after the idea that we need more clothes at all, even thrifting. Support content about refashioning and repairing, renewing leather, styling old pieces in new ways, and learning to craft clothing carefully-not slapping together a polyester monstrosity in a day that never gets worn again, but knitting, crocheting, or sewing everyday clothes. That’s when your activism becomes meaningful, not simply performative and empty (if well-intentioned).

Stop promoting the worst companies just because you want money. Shein has on going illegal activites, that you should very much know of. Shein is awful for the environment, designers, the workers, is low quality, has harmful chemicals to children and pregnant people, and is pretty bad for basically everyone. Im kinda disappointed :/ if you can afford to not support shein, it's best not to. There are other brands that do the same things but if you look at charts shein is way worse somehow. Shein is also notorious for doing this so it's extra disappointing...like I doubt she didn't know.

Here is a chocolate cake recipe: Ingredients: - 200g flour - 200g sugar - 200g butter - 4 eggs - 50g cocoa powder - 1 teaspoon Baking powder - 1 tsp vanilla extract - Pinch of salt - 150ml milk Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin. 2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. 3. In another bowl, stir the butter and sugar until creamy. 4. Gradually add the eggs and stir well. 5. Add the vanilla extract and stir again. 6. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk and stir until well combined. 7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake the cake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. 8. Let the cake cool and enjoy! I hope you like the recipe!
