Welcome to my Friday. I start with an update on what I am eating for my breakfast at home these days. Later on, I do a bit of shopping at The Works, B&M Bargains and Tesco. I cook a halloumi and lentil vegetable curry for our dinner tonight.

When they are glued together you can just wack them on something, like the counter, and they most likely will get apart :) They should be inside something when you do it, or they might fly all over the room :P

Seems as though we're being pushed through the seasons faster every year. Christmas has landed in the stores. I won't start to decorate till after Nov 11. I made a big turkey dinner for the family today.. and I'm sitting here feeling like an elephant. So full and bloated.. ha.

The Christmas things are so cheerful and the dog and cat mugs will be a best seller for gifts at that price. And could fill with candy or rolled up socks or gift cards etc.

You could search bullet journaling, that is very handy and you get it the way you want it, and the community is HUGHE, so you can get so much inspiration on YT! :D But making one your self is also a good idea :) But their might be lots paper.

I am so jjelous at how cheap everything is in the UK compared to Norway. The NOK is so horrible! The dollar and almost pound is double than it was in 2009!

Food looks great i do same go to shops looking for things and find out it was on line lol easy done these days we have same storage for fridge keeps it neat and easyer to pull tray out hope you enjoyed the meal and walk xx

Thank you Imo I like the corn cakes and rice cakes I take a lot of vitamins every day but try to eat veg every day since going threw the change mt diet has changes completely To what it was when I was younger .x

Mmmm not to any great level. I sing and play whistle, I guess, though just set things on the whistle, and not many of them. Good to hear you play too! :)

The seafood sticks were one of my dad’s favourite snacks. I completely forgot they existed till I saw them again in your vlogs. Would a little slow cooker maybe be good for you? Just thinking that at this time of year it might be ideal for having something hot ready to go after gigs or walks. I batch cook in mine a lot so I only end up having to actually cook once or twice a week

People can because lactose intolerant with menopause (and menstral cycle as a whole), so it’s fairly common for bodies to reject it as you get older :)

I really must try the lentil cakes. Have you tried lentil crisps? So tasty. It’s a shame there’s not a lot of nutritional value in corn cakes, they’re so good! I haven’t done dairy for years because I’ve always had issues with cheese and cream, and then gradually cows milk. I can eat halloumi and butter without a problem, but anything else I stick to plant based

Imo, what language app do you use again please. I added one but it requires hearts as points to go on to use lol

Yes! That’s the free version - you get five mistakes and have to wait for the hearts to refill, to play again, but you alternatively can get new hearts by doing the practice exercises. It’s Duo Lingo. Ads run on the free version. I’ve got the premium version because I use it so much so it’s worth it for me but I know people who have used the free version for years and enjoy the challenge of the hearts and coins (you don’t buy them - they’re virtual ones that accumulate as you ‘play’. I do believe you can also do it on a laptop signed into your Duo Lingo account without the hearts and limitation.

What happened with the camera situation? Is it fine? Or will you be changing it?

I have just deferred changing the handycam for now. I can manage in the meantime. It's only for a few zoomed shots occasionally so it's not a camera I would use every day.
