Q: Where is your accent from?
A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.
Q: Do you work? What do you work as?
A: I worked in Marketing and PR but I am currently focusing on my vlog full time.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Matt for 7 years, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser is 7, Caleb is 4 and baby Jackson who is 1.

A: I use natural lighting 90% of the time and a softbox light during the winter / dark evenings.

Looks like the diet is really working for you and motivating. For me personally, it wouldn't be sustainable to keep counting calories so I've started to use the 'plate model' which means that each meal will have 1/2 veggies, 1/4 carbs and 1/4 protein. Really easy and effective! X

Watching this video just boosted my morale. Since having my son in June, I am down 35lbs so far. I gained a lot of weight during my third trimester because I was just extremely hungry all the time, no matter what ate. I would eat and snack all day, then wake up at midnight just starving and need another meal. Granted, a 10lb 10oz little boy came out of me, so I understand why I gained the weight. Slowly the weight came off and the. Once December hit I found that my body was then fully recovered and I could get back into my crazy work out routine. And even though I was watching what I ate, kicking my own butt in the work outs and down in weight, I hit a snag this week when a family friend saw me out and about, commented on how I looked and pretty much called me selfish for putting my needs over my sons. I just felt so down, and unmotivated this week. I was just feeding my son here and had KZfaq on and this video popped up and ..... it brought my motivation back. Seeing that other moms do this too; take care of their children, the house, but also have time to take care of themselves. Thanks so much and I love your videos

Congratulations Emily, you look so fabulous, healthy, happy and glowy.You've inspired me to start myself. Tomorrow my children go back to school (Wales) after 14.5 weeks at home. I found it so hard to keep my steps up and find the time to fit in any exercise with homeschooling 3 boys (and having twin babies too 🤪). I found we were all pretty static until about 3pm and then of course it's always hectic preparing dinner etc, as you well know! Bring on the new and let's look forward to a healthier future all round! Xx

I've been strength training for almost 2 years now and I have to say I love it even more than cardio. I still do cardio because it's a workout really like especially walking

Your skin is definitely glowing! Just for the stiff leg deadlifts really focus on a straight back, as you get stronger you may end up with a strain having a rounded back. Something to help would be going flat footed, chunky and heel trainers aren’t great for deadlifts or squats etc. But keep it up I love seeing women embrace lifting weights xx

I've been on a weight loss journey since having my second child. My goal is to lose around 50lb and I'm down 26. I also like doing a smoothy in the morning. I like adding chia seeds to mine. Extra protein plus some fiber.

Emily, you are so motivating! Thank you for going in depth with your daily routine, it’s an inspiration and model for a lot of us. I struggle with portion control and seeing the size of your meals and their calories helps. The whole can of tuna to get the extra protein is a great tip. You might find yourself getting stronger faster, if when working out, you keep in mind the ideal form and movements. For example if your form is a variation, not the ideal, you’ll end up activating the wrong muscle groups. Injury is also a possibility with improper form which can hinder progress. Once again though, I want to thank you for your kind disposition and your in depth routine! Well wishes from Florida :)

Something I do so my spinach doesn’t go bad is I take some out for salads, sandwiches, etc and then I take the rest and put it in the freezer to use for my smoothies! Or if you know it’s going to go bad soon pop it in the freezer! 😊

You’ve inspired me to drink more water and get on better tracking my food. The only exercise I enjoy is dog walking which I have been able to step up this week with the kids being back at school. Your doing amazing and it’s great to see your enthusiasm.

Well done, I've also been making a conscious decision to slim down since Jan, and lost 14lbs so far, similarly upping protein, and I have found just having smaller portions too, so I tend to have a smaller plate, rather than big dinner plate. Weight training I've also got into. Tracking food on an app, I haven't done, but has worked well also for me in the past. You're glowing!

Love your videos❤️ Just wanted to share a little tip for when you do your deadlift to avoid back issues. I noticed your back looked slightly arched, maybe it was the angle of the camera, but be careful not to arch your back. Your stance should be almost like your sticking your bottom out and shoulders rolled back. Emphasise on rolling your pelvic area back slightly. This video has left me feeling really motivated to get back into shape after a year off from the gym due to lockdown. You're looking amazing! Thank you 😊❤️

Suggestion for your water - try twinnings cold infuse bags, they make water taste much more interesting! I have drinking water but love it with these. My faves are rose lemonade and pink grapefruit. They don’t have any sweeteners in either which some brands have so you get the flavour without the sweetness which I prefer. Thank you for the inspiration to keep going with my weight loss journey x

I use a tablespoon of Fage 0% Yogurt with my tuna instead of Mayo. That’s around 15 calories :)

Coconut milk tip - either use the Alpro carton or buy full fat coconut milk and dilute with water. Lighter coconut milk is the same as full fat coconut milk except it has a higher water content. Either way makes your coconut milk go further. Loved these videos by the way!

@@farrahnabi8840 I started with the 5:2, intermittent fasting diet, then added in some HIIT training from Joe Wicks KZfaq channel, walking 13,000 steps a day and eating as healthy during the week with treats at weekends. I’ve now lost my last 5kg and reached my goal. I’m working on maintaining my weight now. Are you going through a weight loss journey? x

That's amazing, well done. Yes i am i started in January and lost 1st stone took me until March and from then onwards its been realli hard to lose anything. I am just eating healthy and 10,000 step but my weight doesn't seem to lose anything l. 😬

@@farrahnabi8840 A similar thing happened to me. I lost 1.5 stone in 4 months and then I barely lost anything for 3 months after that. That’s when I increased me exercise and reduced my calories to make sure I was in a calorie deficit. Just tracking your calories and being accountable for what you’re eating really helps. Sounds like you’ve done brilliantly, don’t give up, it’s just a plateau 💪🏻

Go Emily! I just wanted to mention with your coffee. Every coffee drinker should try and find an organic blend. Coffee is sprayed with so many nasty pesticides. I buy an organic blend that I put in my French press Bodum plunger. It is so lovely!

Great video. Thank you so much for sharing. Are you aware that you can just put your bag of spinach in your freezer to save it for cooking or your smoothies. I buy a massive bag and freeze it once I open it. X

Pop the spinach in the freezer. I buy bags of baby spinach/kale and use it in smoothies from the freezer. I find it blends better too 🙂 Love your videos xx
