Nami's life

Nami's life

Күн бұрын

The other day it snowed in Tokyo.
Many of you who heard about it on the news sent me comments of concern.
Your kindness warmed my heart for the day.
Thank you all so much!
Please turn on Subtitle in the Settings.
I used an automatic translator, so I apologize if there are any mistakes.
🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼
Thank you for watching our video✨.
My grandmother's hobby is home vegetable garden for many years.
When I went back home for the New Year holidays, I was able to see her garden for the first time in a long time 🌿.
The other day she sent me a lot of vegetables 🥕
Because I was asking a lot of questions.
What is the name of this vegetable, how to eat it, etc.
She said that her legs and back hurt, but she is still growing vegetables.
I could see that this field was a place for her to refresh herself.
In Japan, vegetables sold in supermarkets often have a picture of the producer's face on them.
These days I'm thinking about it tastes better with the face of the person who grew it in my mind.

▶ABOUT NAMI NO KURASHI
I'm Nami, an office worker living alone in Tokyo.
The Japanese pronunciation "Nami" has several meanings.
One Nami is a girl's name, and the other Nami means ordinary.
Naminokurashi(Nami's life) is a combination of these two meanings.
Kurashi means daily life.
I don't have any special skills. My life is ordinary days.
I hope you enjoy my ordinary days!

I lived on dairy farms till I was 15 years old but mama always taught all of us that veggies can be “recycled and regrown” again in the soil, not just from the seeds themselves. We had gotten many veggies (and fruits) to do this because of her wisdom. And in times like this, I am passing this knowledge on to my brother’s youngest daughter (I wasn’t able to have kids of my own) and some of my godchildren. I just lost my dad in November and my mom 6.5 years ago. Seeing your video just brought back good memories of them. It also made me look outside to see the pots of recycled veggies (especially my large amount of different onions😂 I replanted) and other plants I have in containers growing. During times like this, when food is expensive as ‘God knows what’, I am glad your grandma had told you of this.🥰 You have an outstanding year, dear!

Everything looks so wonderful! And how sweet of your grandmother to send you all of that fresh produce. :) It looked as though you might be watching Introverted Boss? I so enjoyed that drama, probably one of my favorites.
