Hi maddie, love your videos! Have you always had flat abs? I'm desperately trying to get rid of my flab!! Omg I have tried so much! I cant stand it. I work in an office so it's hard for me to work out constantly. Do you have a meal plan to follow like with what time you eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and your exercise regimen as well. I feel like everything I eat goes straight to my belly! Please your advise would be helpful!!

107 grams of fiber, "....I bet that is three times as much fiber as the average person gets in a day." Sadly, that is closer to seven times the amount of fiber that the average person gets in a day. Most vegetarians and vegans, as they seem to overly used processed garbage and vegan junk foods, probably get 30 grams per day. My breakfast smoothie comes in, per cronometer, right around 40 grams depending on the day. Great video and nice that you fully cover your cronometer. Serves as a great influence, in addition to your workouts, as to how people need to treat their bodies. Even if someone didn't extend their life, they would surely have a much higher quality of life. +1

Actually the Institute of Medicine reccommeds a minimum of 30g of fiber a day, so Maddie you were actually right.

Depending on the kcals a person needs you need different amounts of fiber. Females need on the AVG: 27 grams Males need on the average: 38 grams Athletes tend to need more fiber due to the increased need of kcals :)

There are two types of B12: Cyanocobalamin and methylcobalamin. The supplement you are using contains the first one, which is 'known' for potentially causing skin problems. Methylcobalamin, on the other hand, is a safer option. There have also been studies on how to consume b12, and if you have one that goes beyond your daily need it is possible to just have it a few times a week instead of every dag :)

LOVE these videos! I've been taking a multi-vitamin from Ritual that doesn't have TOO MUCH of any nutrient. A lot of times they have over 100% of your daily value so I loved your tip about too much B12 and acne - never knew that!!

You could still have enough omega-3 through walnuts :) You can hit selenium with eating mushrooms, sunflower seeds and other plant foods, look it up!

I'm new to all this, particularly eating plant based and learning about veganism, and I am starting on a weight loss journey after struggling with disordered eating for years. I get a little bit of panic hearing you say how many calories you eat in a day, but also I'm envious! All these questions I had been wondering for a long time, also How tall ( in cm ) are you and how much do you weight ( in KG ) because I went down from 64kg to 50kg and I had overweight because im a really small person ( 156cm) and now im not allowed to donate blood which makes me mad, I have to get up to 60kg again and now I look to gain that all in muscle weight, also im sometimes scared to eat because im overcoming an eating disorder.. but your videos help me a lot to get motivated and to believe in myself! Hi Maddie! You and some other vegan youtubers have inspired me to defeat the fear and start eating WFPB diet. It is 1 year since I started, but in May 2018 i stated to get fatigue, dizzy, slight headaches, tired etc... mostly it worsen after eating.. I have checked my blood, sugar (diabetes, hypoglicemia,..), i have been to neurologist, i have had gastro and colonoscopy, CT of head, I have tested intolerances on food (everything fine), thyroid, livers, etc.... everything fine... But my problems are still present... It depends, from day to day, somedays it is really bad, somedays it is better. I supplement with B12 and D3 spray. I am quiet active person, fitnes and group workouts ( cardio + weight lifting ). And working out everytime improves my conditions. I really dont know what to do anymore, and all around me are convincing me, to try switching back to eating everything... :/ Btw, Love your channel and all the content you make! Stay awesome and keep inspiring us! :D

Great video. When ever I feel hungry I have some fruit. The only supplement I take is B12 because I get everything else through whole foods or fortified foods/drinks.

Your skin looks nice and clear, so whatever you are doing is working for you. Also, I have the hardest time digesting Hemp and Chia seeds too. I can do a couple of tbs of ground flax, but the others send me straight into a gallbladder attack.

ACNE BECAUSE OF B12! That's whyyyy I can't believe it!! I ran out of b -12 supplements about 2 weeks ago and my skin basically completely cleared up out of nowhere. I had no idea that b-12 could cause acne. I will definitely be cutting them into quarters when I buy them again. So glad that you said this in your video!

omfg im so glad you talked about breaking out when you take too much b12!! I thought I was going crazy thinking it was B12, I have to take it like every 4 days or else I break out :( not that many talk about that!!

I’m a sedentary girl, sorry,I’m 15 years old, I’m 5,7, and on my vegan balance diet I eat around 2500 to 2800 calories too, it’s just the way I feel satisfied and fuel my body, I’m 51-54 kilos and that table doesn’t necessary told you how much you should eat, it’s just a guide, eat intuitively and listen your body, another thing don’t force your self to eat healthy always, I believe in a balance diet, eat your macros and eat junk food, be free.
