Hey I'm Lenny & I am owned by 6 dachshunds and 2 min pins x
In this video I talk about what I feed my dogs and why! I am talking here about Raw, Kibble and treats.

Lovely video! I'm a bit worried that my long haired is looking a little plump, but sometimes I think it could be because he's a boy, or because of his fur. My smooth haired is quite thin, a female, tiny petite dog, and eats more that him! He still has a waist. Anyways, love to see others doing both kibble and raw, I do the same, to cover all bases..

Doggies coats look so shiny and amazing! My dogs (one dachshund) are on a complete fish diet as I felt that this was my compromise as a vegetarian as well! xxxx

Very interesting, thank you for addressing a raw food diet that is, shall we say, more friendly to handle for those of us who don't like handling meat, especially raw meat. I really wanted to feed a raw, natural diet but am deterred by this & also the need to get exactly the right balance of lean meat, offal, fish etc. I shall look into this. 👍

Absolutely! Glad to be helpful :) Honestly I'm the exact same. Can't handle raw meat and also not the smartest cookie to work out percentages so a complete raw meat that I just defrost and dish out was exactly what I needed :) Definitely worth a shot as it works great for mine

What feeding schedule would you recommend a dachshund who is not good at free feeding. 1 meal in the morning and 1 meal in the evening?

They’re all miniature :) 5 of them are brindles :)

I aam binge watching your videos! I am picking up our mini dachshund in about 6 weeks and I am consider a raw diet. Quick question; I see from your video that you are using kibble in the morning and the raw cubes in the evening, is this method better than using the raw cubes for every meal? I really want to give my pup the best start.

I only do this because it works well for my dogs snd my budget lol! But honestly raw for all meals is fine too 💜❤️ sounds like you’re doing the best!

Curious. How do you regulate their food intake if you are throwing it on the floor? Do you supplement feedings for each that need more during the day? Mom to one senior (overweight) and pup of 8 months.

Hey! I actually make sure they have at least one meal per day on a bowl. But they’re very good at self regulating anyway, but yeah they have one meal per day in a bowl so I can adjust that meal x

My 4 month old is on bikkies... But. His poo is mostly runny an sometimes spelled with blood. Should I try raw begire I go the vet.. He's active an om in himself

Hey! I would go to the vets, as there’s blood could have an inflamed bowel. Needs to be seen by a vet and a bland diet of chicken or white fish and rice or potato x

Hi I feed my black and tan Dachshund half biscuit half tinned sardines morning and once @ night but she's starting to look a bit fat am I feeding her to much? tia

Hey! Yes sardines will be far to fatty to have that much. They’re usually used to fatten up whelping mum dogs!!! No need for the sardines. 1 sardine once or twice a week is plenty x

i have 1 ducshand puppy .i have no experience in petting 1.i gave him tuna last week and he shed some hair and started scratching.am worried

Yes some tuna is fine but some is in salt water :) so it depends x

For treats I use freeze dried liver and I’ve never seen a dog refuse it

We use liver too :) but we can’t use too often if they get upset tummy’s 😅 too much offal I think xxx

None of that food is available in Canada.
