I got rid of those four categories too because I was like Christmas comes just once just give them something that’ll make them very happy I don’t want to control that joyous day

Same- got rid of the 4 category things bet I prefer to go by direct interest not just buy ti buy. It also didn’t feel fun just doing that. I enjoy gifting to my kids

We got the same bike for our now 15 month old. He walks already but before he could walk he already sat on the bobbycar from my older child. We dont use categories for gifts either but we do a 100 euro budget per child. I also try to buy things that really benefit our lifes and not jusy for the big hype while unpacking. Its not that easy but i always try to think of the space it will take in our flat and life and if its worth it. Merry Christmas!
