Honestly, I agree with the most of what you said, you make good points, but!!! Ships can be fun and cool IF(!!!) they have some kind of story behind them. If they have at least some background or facts that can support them. I often see people ship Sanses that would either hate each other or literally would never even meet each other and it just??? so??? weird??? like, I get it, you like the characters, but shipping them just because "uwu they look good together" is just naaaaah, get out, that's not how love works, come on I chose some ships for my AU because I can make them work with some facts from canon and with some good (I think so?) headcanons that make sense. It can be interesting, but, let's be real, it's just a fanon thing, no Sanses would actually be in romantic relationships with each other ;^) Overall, people will always do what they like, but if they are making weird stuff or something that doesn't make sense, it's really cringy to look at. I’m so happy someone explained this because people can get confused when they first get in the fandom and think that shattered Dream cannon or Error in the bad guys Nightmare caring abt Dream turning to shattered ect..- when j first joined the fandom I was so confused of what was canon and canon until I found the pages of most of the creators of the most AUs like ink, error, ect..- I also had to play the game and find what was the best personality for Classic and checked Toby’s page to know more about Classic and his AU also I’m so glad someone FINALLY pointed out that Dream and Nightmare DO NOT have genders i though I was the only one that knew TwT also I have made an AU but because of the fandom I don’t want to show it to anybody because then people will stereotype it or start shipping them and that’s the reason the fandom could die the people in it are making the fandom toxic and if we don’t do something abt it the fandom might die or people will give hate to it which I wouldn’t want that to happen also because the fandom got so toxic some of our UnderTale AU content creators are leaving the fandom an example is Popichi they might have left the fandom after they made a community post of the UnderTale fandom getting toxic and that they wanna leave it. I completely agree with almost everything you’ve just said and tbh I get really upset when I see those mistakes being made in most of gacha videos (and fanfiction, memes, comics etc. too) HOWEVER, there is one thing that I wanna mention, but before I do, I must say that I have nothing against “nightmare’s gang” thing, it’s been in an Undertale Au fandom for years and I already got pretty used to it… even though it’s not canon. Lemme explain real quick for ppl who don’t know- Nightmare has a really strong negative aura around him at all times, so people who get too close will most likely go insane, kill themselves or smth like that, which is the reason why “nightmare’s gang” in reality consists only of Killer and Nightmare. But even though Killer doesn’t really feel emotions that much, nightmare’s aura still affects him (Killer switches stages a lot around NM and that’s why he’s really unstable). Also hypothetically speaking, even if NM didn’t have his aura, Horror and Murder would just refuse to go with him: Horror has a brother he cares about(? Does he really care that much? Well I guess… maybe?) in his au, Murder cares only about what happens in Dusttale and would more likely kill himself that join Nightmare and participate in uhh… negative spreading? Catching dream? Let’s just call it a “nightmare activity” And if they refuse nightmare’s “offer”, there’s a 99.99% chance he won’t kill them for that, since he needs them as sources of negativity (nightmare usually doesn’t kill creatures, but he can drive them into killing each other instead, so ye-) Aaaand lastly I partly mentioned the reason why there’s also no “murder time trio”: simply because out of three of them, only Killer knows about aus, other two have never left their universes So yep, funny little canon facts go brrrrr Edit: sorry if my English’s bad, it’s not my first language Oh and also abt Swap, he doesn’t really know aus??? We’ll see in a final animation I guess :))

But also, what I have to say. Horror often gets shown as the most stupid one of the trio but in canon, he is the one with the most IQ... Also I've heard that Horror DID hurt the human in his AU but never killed anyone. With other words: low EXP, high LV.

You made very good points in here, honestly i have no problem with the fallen stars it they make them actually likable in some way, like have an actual good plot point and story. My thoughts on Shattered have gone up and down, when i first encountered him i thought he was pretty cool then it just went down hill the more i saw of him and how he was always the same. A few weeks ago my love for him came back for multiple reasons (which is not going to state cause i am unsure of them myself) I am well aware of how canon bad guys would act but tbh i think people just make them have some sort of friendly relationship with eachother as to actually have something to make. I like to write stuff and i find it very hard to write canon behaviours now that ive made up a certain way they act in my head, it has deliberatley said that this is how they act even though i know its now XD

I agree because (no hate please) nightmare can’t feel love for anyone, it’s not even the real nightmare. The real nightmare is dead and that is just a parasite from what I’ve been hearing and agree with. Some things about the bad sanses, nightmare, and his gang, as well as the murder trio, are kinda canon because Killer's creator put those concepts in their canon works for Killer, (what I'm going to say next is not character defense, I had a deep dive into Killer's canon lore) Killer doesn't truly want to kill, saying he does is hurting his characterization, Killer purely a victim in everything as he never had a choice in the matter, he was tortured and manipulated/brainwashed by the player/Chara which caused him to make the deal with them, he was used and abused by them and when he escapes by killing Chara (don't ask, I don't know how) he RESET but was then kidnapped by Nightmare who did the same thing to Killer that Chara and the the Player did, he was on his way to the good ending when the creator stopped uploading, but all and all, Killer was just a victim through and through and saying he's nothing but a psychopathic murderer is bastardization of his character

Actually, Murder!Sans (or Dust!Sans, call him any way you want) isn't a fucking heartless killing machine, let's remember that, he only killed the people in his AU because he thought that was the only possible way to stop Chara, he didn't enjoy killing them, Murder would pretty much be a Neutral guy, who only kills people who get in his way and/or he considers they deserve it, i only see him in Nightmare's gang if Nightmare offered him the possibility to kill every Chara in all AUs so those AUs dont go into the same path as his AU.

I think that the ships are cool but there's two things that bothers me: 1. I've heard that most of the Sanses are aromatic/non-romantic 2. Imagine your UT! Sans, and you see the ships, would be cool but...... wouldn't it be dating yourself and kissing yourself in the mirror?
