You're right and showed us the dark side of the nursing profession. I'm also a nurse and worked in a hospital but there were the same things that happened with me that you told us in this video. I also hate being a nurse but I can't change my past. If I had known about this earlier then I would haven't chosen the nursing profession.

Well said Chauhan. Nursing leadership for personal gains has put this profession to loose. We are scared to be whistle blower or raise our voice against workplace harrassments. Even nursing unions, nursing Bosses get and give favours to management. A nurse is glorified only on international nurses day n then forgotten for rest 364 days. I agree to your statements as worked in India and overseas too. Keep ur good work n move on Dignity n self respect n salaries

Same feelings bro,but i have only one year experience in india,afterwards i didn't work for 5 years,but done physician assistant pg diploma ,no good experience recently, but so many thoughts to grow in nursing field,my daughter 4 years now,waiting for her growth so that i can restart my career..God should bless me to come to uk,have successfull career. ❤ from India

I remember when I was working in theatre my colleague told to his TL that after his official duty hours he's going to take classes so he will not be able to do extra time in hospital.When he went one anesthetic doctor started saying to TL to tell the HR not to hire those people who want to study along with job and then that anesthetic himself complete his working hours and went to home.........he is a doctor how he can say such things for the nursing staff....he has nothing to do with us.

Yes in India the condition of the Nurses is sad but in England , it's much better or probably depends on the NHS trust as well. Here in my hospital the Nurses delegates blood glucose monitoring , vitals obs , blood cultures and many more works to HCA. I personally feel the elimination needs/care is also part of nursing and hence it's expected that Nurses takes care of urine & stool related work.We nurses only can give holistic care to the patients.

Overlapping of work in medical hierarchy should not be in nurse's work, according to me. Well defined criteria for all levels of medical professions should be followed.
