I'm swedish for reference. I was diagnosed with MS one year ago. I have been SO WELL taken care of. I was initially hospitalised, I have since then had several MRI for example. All is free and I'm so well taken care of. I get called when I need to go in again.

Watching Swedish TV, reading children's books in Swedish, singing Swedish songs speed up the language skills.

I am european and I moved to North East Brasil…the weather is 28-33 all year and it’s insane how stable and gorgeous everything is! People are amazing and food is tasty…if you want South Brasil it’s like europe ( many Germans ), weather has 4 months of cold like 10 degrees…I am super happy here! All europe should move here it’s aaawsome

My partner and I are considering moving to Sweden and we just returned from our first trip there. I totally agree with having a positive outlook on life😊! We loved the nature and the spaciousness of Sweden and of course the childfriendly environment! A dutch relative of ours has been living in Sweden now for 17 years and was very positive as well about the healthcare system, they had an emergency stay not to long ago and were treated very well. Btw I love the informative content of your channel❤!

what you should do this summer is take a week or weekend off and go to Gotland during your semester. A really nice place where you can relax. And there are so many (historic) places to explore there. You have talked so often about your learning swedish studies, when can we expect an example of your progress? And don´t forget Sweden celebrates as a nation 500 years this year. I guess that would be interresting for you too. (It will for me included)

As a Dane I'm surprised that our neighbors are even more reserved towards strangers than Danes are. Swedes have so much to offer the world in meaningful conversations and core values.

The "Sweds" use winter as a loooong time to just make it as much cosyness as possible. Many Fikas, and use candles and snuggle upp in the sofa etc and put on a bunch of movies and enjoy the darkness outside. Because it makes it soooo much easier to fall asleep in the night =)

I was in the UK recently and prices were almost the same as in Sweden. On the positive side the food had improved quite a lot, even a lot of the ''cheap'' stuff we ate was quite good, including the frozen dinners I bought.

I lived in London for eight years London is really expensive compared to other parts of the U.K.

I agree with you that you shouldn't be so negative but be positive, if you are negative it shows on the person and then people distance themselves. Don't waste energy on the negative and bad, it only sucks the energy from yourself and people around you. When it comes to the dark winters, you can do as we Swedes do, we light candles and many install fireplaces to increase the cozy factor in the dark. Also see the darkness as relaxing more and enjoying the darkness outside, then you feel better not to stress. If you move to Sweden, the most important thing you must learn as we Swedes say and follow; There is no bad weather, only bad clothing. Which means that there is no weather that prevents us from being outside, but we adapt our clothing to the weather and do what we have planned to do outdoors. Then if you choose to move to Stockholm when you move to Sweden, you have to expect that it will take longer to get the time in healthcare. I live in Kiruna, which is in Lapland, and here it is quick to get a doctor's appointment here and they don't know what kind of illness you are suffering from, so they make sure that you quickly get an appointment for an examination to see what you are suffering from. If you want to live around Stockholm but don't want to pay too high a price to buy a home or house, you should choose the less attractive suburbs, because then the prices are lower. The more a suburb, the higher housing prices for both apartments and houses. REMEMBER that for what you pay for a small investment apartment in Stockholm, you can get a whole house with land in other parts of Sweden. Think about what you have to pay for a house in Stockholm, in other parts of Sweden you get both a house and a summer cottage for that price and depending on where, you also have money to spare compared to Stockholm.

In general i think winters in Stockholm/east coast are somewhat easier to endure than on the west coast/Göteborg! Like you say winters are long and cold but in Stockholm i think the snow stays longer before it dissappears. Many times winter in Göteborg is like having extended November! In the morning it snows and then by noon it's raining! That part i don't like about Sweden at least in my area but in the summer i wouldn't wanna be anywhere else than home! I live about 20 minutes ride with my bicycle from the sea where i go swimming. The alcohol is expensive here due to it's heavy taxed but on the other hand maybe i have myself to blame since i only by beer from Austria/Czech Republic/Germany! Maybe the prizes have went up big time in London not the right guy to tell but you must also concider that for a Swede right now going to like America or UK or like Germany is quite expensive now since the Swedish krona is very low comparing to the Pound/Dollar/Euro.

You are lucky because the winters have been a lot worse, many 10-15 years ago. -30 degrees was not unusual earlier.

I was looking at hotel prices in London a while back 😮 The weak Swedish krona doesn't make it easier 🤷

Some say that Sweden can get snow in April and May .

the reason why the preschool is affordable is that it is partly paid for by the tax. You pay a small part of the actual cost. Same with healthcare, you pay a small part, the tax the rest.

I've lived here 3 months now and I am a little scared of the Healthcare system. Luckily so far we had no need to go there besides the child check up and the female check up, but I hear horror stories from people that needed ER emergency care , or at night, or severe cough for their child... I'm just scared that we will need it and will not get it, because this is how it's done here... I hope I am wrong, I shall update you on that 😇😋

Relative to wages and salaries , things should not be expensive in Sweden.

What I learned after living in Sweden for 32 years was to collect my pension and move to Sicily. 😂

The society described in this video certainly exists. But not for much longer. Our politicians sold us out appr. 10 years ago and now those mistakes are starting to bear fruit. I am very pro immigration and a firm believer in multi-cultural societies, but opening the floodgates the way we did, and letting anyone in in the 100's of thousands, is a recipe for disaster. The current gang shootings are only a first sign and the beginning of Sweden's demise as a society and a culture. I don't think these problems are as prevalent and noticeable in the circles this lady obviously travels. But in time they will be.

So sorry, did you learn Arabic, did you get a bullet proof west for protection against the Muslim clan wars ?
