I attended an event for webtoon canvas creators! I've listed out most of the key points discussed. This event was on December 9th, 2022 and lasted around 7-8 hours.
This video is basically a summary of 4/6 events:

Thanks Isabelle for putting this together! I couldn’t make it to the webinar, so appreciate you doing a rundown. Btw, I feel your voice recording is a little low. For someone who’s watching on my phone, I have the vid volume turned up all the way, but it was still hard to hear you without having to have my phone a feet away from me.

your videos are really good, great advice, and excellent information, you do such a good job explaining webtoon aspects. I am both an architect and a gardener when storytelling. great job!

I missed the summit, thanks for recapping it! The tips on the age gap romance were great, as I need to write one in the near future. Also I like the advice of making characters flawed or have misconceptions at the beginning, for natural character growth, that seems like a cool writers hack. Thanks again for the recap!

I went to this as well, being an editor for some comics I enjoy was the part that stood out most to me. I also started writing a new story towards the end of the summit so I'm excited about!

Sure, the first one is Webtoon Central, it's public and easy to find. The second one you'll have to submit proof of your series, it's called Webtoon Canvas Creators discord.gg/webtooncanvascreators

Is there any other platform to talk to webtoon creators besides discord? It would be so cool if webtoon had an update so you could talk to each other in the app

That’s a great question. I seems like most of the creators at the event wanted ways to meet and had that same question! most folks I know just reach out to each other on Instagram one by one for collabs and chats. WEBTOON sent an email today to those of us who attended the event to make an Instagram “close friends group” of some sort but you have to provide links to your comic to join and I’m not sure how useful it’s going to be. If I find the link again I’ll post it here. EDIT: I deleted the email already so I don’t have the link anymore.
