Today's story is about Filip Kaliszan, CEO of Verkada. While studying at Stanford, he encountered a problem with registering for classes using thick course catalogs and created CourseRank to easily find classes. His startup was used by over 7,000 Stanford students. During this time, CourseRank underwent an acquisition. Working in a rapidly growing startup, Filip decided to create his own startup, Verkada. Currently, Verkada is valued at $3.5 billion and has evolved into a comprehensive security company. In the video, he shares his experiences and lessons learned while building the company.

Didn't this company have some security breach problem a few years ago? Cloud based systems should be airtight in their software.

Horrible. Just look up VerkaDawgz and the pressure they put on sales people, especially on Glassdoor.
