What I'm Packing in My Hospital Bag for Baby #2 - Minimalistic + Realistic

I'm currently 38 weeks along in this pregnancy and finally packed my hospital bag this week. I'm sharing this because it is so different from my previous hospital bag video and I hope some of you find it helpful when making mindful decisions on what you should pack in your bag. No one wants to end up with too much stuff they don't need, piling up and cluttering their recovery room. I find packing minimally and realistically whether for a vacation or a trip to labor and delivery can so essential l in staying organized and stress free.

LOVE how you had just one bag for everyone and how truly minimal this video was. I see so many women packing like they're going to climb Mt. Everest and calling it mininal, but I know that's not realistic nor necessary for me.

Loved this video even though I am NO WHERE NEAR the age to be pregnant ( that was a LONG time ago), but I so enjoyed the products that you showed and the more natural, clean direction you went in with your choices for dry shampoo, etc. I am so glad I found your channel because even though I'm an older woman I still like to discover new products for myself and my family members too. Congrats on your pregnancy and I hope the delivery goes smoothly and you are back home with your sweet little girl very soon. Yes.... Virginia is hot and humid this time of year maybe you will get lucky and you will have a cooler day when you bring your daughter home. Best wishes !!

Love this video!! After a cesarean I definitely didn’t shower after birth but after my two VBAC I NEEDED to shower to remove all of the blood TMI? I would strongly suggest a bar of soap. I’m totally ordering those slippers too! I’m only 23 wks with baby 4 but I’m already thinking about the hospital bag 😂

You know, I didn't really consider this! You have a very valid point. Maybe I'll pack my soap just in case. And congratulations on your pregnancy! As you know, it is going to fly by so you may "only" be 23 weeks but that 4th baby will be here before you know it.

I was having blood work drawn yesterday and for some unknown reason you popped into my head. I knew you were getting pretty close to yr due date. Then I just happened to check my notifications today and there you were!. Looks like you are organized and ready to go at a moments notice. Praying all goes well and you are able to have a VBAC. Looking forward to seeing Miles reaction to the new baby. I have a feeling he is going to be a very protective big brother❤ Jo

I feel so out of place when I watch these videos lol im 23 about to be 24 and pregnant with my second child. Most women making these kinds of videos have very mature taste in clothing and they really look like moms. Then there is me dressing like a typical gen z with 90s fashion. Im just wearing bike shorts an oversized t shirt and some sneakers to go home in. I always think, hey I should probably start dressing like an adult instead of a teen on TikTok 🥲

I know this is an old comment, but it made me chuckle. I'm 42 and pregnant with a little boy, due in July, and although I'm a millennial and way older than you, I feel the same way! Some of these women are dressed "to the nines," like maternity models - so professional/upkept, and I'm a shorts/t-shirt girl all the way! 😂 my mom is always trying to get me into wearing "more mature" clothing, and I'm just like, "That's just not me!" Lol ❤
