I just came across your channel and im so happy that I did....Your truly a gifted sewer. I love all of the items that you made but the blk top with the white plants is georgeous. What pattern did you use for the pants and also how did you go about designing the top? Can you maybe do a video of how you cut the top from the original pattern? I am 65 yrs old, i have been sewing since i was 9 yrs old. My Mother passed away 3 1/2 yrs ago and i lost interest in sewing, painting, crocheting, i even made fairy houses. I just can't seem to get into doing all the things that I use to love making and doing. I love everything you made. ❤ Oh, by the way, new subbie here.😊

Hi Norma. I'm sorry to hear about your mother. I understand not wanting to do the things you used to love. When my husband passed away six years ago, it took me a long time to get back into it. I'm really just starting to fully get back into my groove. It's been a journey. So, just take your time. One day at a time. One step at a time. One breath at a time. 💕 Thank you for subscribing.

Awww Norma would you accept a virtual hug 🤗? My maternal grandma taught me to knit, sew and bake from the age of about 5yrs, she passed away when I was 18 and I too found it difficult to carry on doing something that I loved doing with the most wonderful lady that’s ever walked this planet. I did get back into all my crafting hobbies but it took me a while but to this day (and I’m now 58), whenever I get a bit stuck, I ask my grandma what would she do and it does help because I do hear her explaining how she always did. It will take time Norma but please don’t be worried how long it takes. Lots of love to you ❤

Everything is beautiful! My very favorite is the blue dress with the amazing lapel/neckline. My second favorite was the short jacket made with the Easter dress fabric. It was hard to choose

Just WOW! Every one of the pieces is absolutely gorgeous. I too, am in awe of your talent! And, you add so much to how the pieces look on. Just beautiful!!! Okay, if I must choose one item, it has to be the blue swing coat. It takes me back to when I was about 13 years old, and my friend's mom, who worked at Giddings Genning, here in Cincinnati. She came home one day, with a new blue swing coat and she actually twirled in it as she showed it to us. I was amazed at the beauty of that coat!

Oh my goodness Anita you have been busy, I particularly loved the burgundy wardrobe ensemble you showed. I have that McCalls pattern that I picked up from a lady that was decluttering her mammoth collection of patterns.
