I think bookshelves organized by genre is the way to go. That’s what I’m planning on doing as well!

Came for the knausgaard review as I just read it! I love knausgaard's writing but do think my struggle is way better. Totally get that you dnf'd it, tbh it didn't end up going anywhere at all but it was still a four star read for me 😅😂 good to hear your thoughts about Harlem Shuffle too - still undecided if I want to try it! Omg i felt the same slog from Harlem Shuffle. You’re not alone! Idk what it was bc everytime I’d get into it it’d be enjoyable and I’d fly through 50pgs but then stop and not really care to continue. And it has its funny moments! I felt bad about not liking it as much as I felt I should’ve. The Right to Sex has been immediately added to cart. Genre is def the way to go. Nobody else can find a book from my shelves but it doesn’t matter bc I can 😅 That’s how my brain thinks about books (All my Moshfeghs are w my Rooneys and Ferrantes.) so that’s how my shelves are sorted as well.

I agree, This Thing Between Us wasn't the evil Alexa I was promised. It was good in its way but the marketing threw me off and I ended up disappointed.

Haha the Knausgaard.. I also DNF around the same point..I was really excited to read it too because I usually enjoy his work..It's meant to be a duology or trilogy . it felt pretty much the same to me.. loved some of the characters but it didn't seem to go anywhere and then halfway through it turns into an odd intellectual version of a Stephen King.

Really enjoyed Apartment by Teddy Wayne, so I read Loner by the same author, and it’s wasn’t as good.
