I reread Rana Dasgupta's book, "Capital: The Eruption of Delhi" on the train to NYC. It was a stunning book that sparked a deep sense of care and curiosity in me. I hope you like these recent ruminations :)

I've been in Delhi for a while now and it's Crazy.. we got a better subway than most of the world along with the "Trash mountain". in winters we get smog (smoke infested fog) >> nobody can see beyond 200 meters.

How can you read with noise while traveling? I mean, even the slightest noise while reading disrupts my mental images functioning. As if the big screen inside my head screeches and can’t seem to absorb what I read.

It's a little tough sometimes, but audiobooks help me a lot!!
