I was watching one of Nutnfancy's videos and saw your video on the side. I initially thought you were going to trash Nutnfancy, and was relieved to hear that you had a wonderful experience with him. Not many people help out strangers. There should be more people like him.

I just started watching Nutn's video's a few days ago. I've been a denizen of the interwebs and KZfaq for years and a firearm collector/shooter. I've watched a whole lot of reviews by a whole lot of people. I'm a big fan of Hickok45 and Iraqiveteran8888 and a few others. Well I finally started watching TNP videos. He seems to put a LOT of research and practical testing into his review subject. I like the way he talks about it, has talking points, etc. The way he relates stuff. It seems real. And laid out by somebody that knows pretty well what he's talking about. I don't think he comes off as a douche at all. But you get a large enough group of people together and you'll start to come up with haters. And like the saying goes. Haters gonna hate. It doesn't surprise me at all that you have had such a good experience with him. He seems like the real deal. I'd really like to take a few runs on one of his run and gun courses one day. Also, Just subscribed to your channel :) Take care

Nutn is in no way full of himself. How many times you hear him say "I'm not an expert in _____, I'm just a gear tester..." What he is, is happy, energetic, comfortably with himself, and very confident about what he knows about from experience. People tend to be jealous of truly self-comfortable people. He has my respect, as do you. I appreciate the openness and honesty in this vid, so...subbing. (I'm 50 BTW)

"Nutn is in no way full of himself." You haven't seen all of his videos then, mate. Check out the video on how obsessive and angry he is about his fan's "systems" and "testing for their readiness" it was absolutely ridiculous. The tone in his voice is abrasive as fuck, which Idon't hold against him. Referring to himself in the third-person constantly is annoying. Hell, I live probably an hour from the dude and would love to go shooting with him, I just don't know how long that feeling wouldl ast once there! There's a difference between being comfortable with yourself and full of yourself and you are in no better a position than I am to say what NutN really is. We just both have our opinions. Though it would, ironically, be full of yourself to be self-assured that I am most definitely wrong ;)

There are some people that are so rude on youtube, so I see what you mean. I will check out your channel, I don't know much about knifes, but I like knife reviews. As far as Nutnfancy goes, something would be wrong if you agreed with everything he says! We all need to think for ourselves, but he seems right most of the time. I only know him from watching youtube, but I sure would not turn out a chance to hang out with him and do a run and gun. A person could learn a lot. Besides his knowledge of firearms, I respect his values, at least what I perceive as his values. I don't know him personally. God, Family, Country, respect for others, kindness, coming to the defense of victims, and guns. I like all that. Those are positive attributes that many people have that make me happy for them and our society.

Those "hand people". First I made my videos, showing my knives, people kept saying bs like "why your hands are hairy?", "your hands are not manly enough", etc. Then I was like, ok, I'm going to buy gloves and wear them for my videos. Now I get comments like "why don't you show your hands", "why are you hiding your hands, are you a criminal?", "you are wearing gloves? you must be a psychopath" and such comments. Damn, I can wear my gloves or not wear them, either way, I get crappy comments time to time about my hands or the gloves. It's hopeless. haha

50 bucks? Ill never forget this too bro. Character- thats a powerful word. I usually wont watch an entire video, but this 50 dollar story WOWD me. Just think-that was a one on one thing, (unless nutnfancy made a video about how he sent a stranger 50 bucks... ) But he did that to bless you. They say its more of a blessing to give than to receive. Like, if you naturally are selfish, sometimes you can feel empty. So try giving instead of always wanting, and that just might fill you up. I am drawn to your character bro. I like your style, and in person you would be a cool dude to be around. Anyways, you shared some really real stuff man, so Im gonna subscribe bro. I am not really about you tube subscribing and uploads and reviews, I usually hit youtube for information on something, but I could def watch a knife review by you. So I might as well ask ya- got any reviews on high end micro tech china clones bro? Something other than a vespa combat trodden review.. Like in the 50-70 dollar clone range.. Armament and knives- I like those too. Good stuff. Now here is something to think about. We usually like someone if they are likable or show love and respect to you. Thats easy and natural. But can you love someone still, unconditionally and genuinely, even if they treat you like crap and hate you? That is near impossible, who does that? Friends, Id like to introduce to you the character of Jesus Christ. If you guys don't know Him, get to know Him. In all of our life, at the end of it all, THIS my friends, is the only thing that will matter. Sorry CL about that, but had to plant some type of seed here. GB! (God Bless)

I have to say this. I am a 45 year old man living the married life in Wisconsin. Your view on Nut N Fancy is the best thing done in the best way I have encountered in any of these types of forums. kudos to you sir for your strong convictions. I have gained a lot of respect for you for doing this. I to enjoy Nut N Fancy's videos. I do not always agree with his or your points of view, but hold no animosity towards either of you. I do not have a you tube video channel, and probably never have one. I love both edged weaponry, and firearms. I have respect for the way the two of you do what you do. It takes a lot of guts to come on a public forum and speak the truth about what you feel about another human being, So once again, kudos sir and keep doing the things you do. I am sure you will be successful in your endeavors.

Its funny when he is talking about glocks and how even if you don't know about guns you know what one is. I worked with a guy for about a year that was a former gang banger of some kind from florida with a rap sheet as long as his arm. He called ALL handguns glocks. It took me a while to realize this, I thought he just really liked glocks lol. Then one day he showed up at my place so we could ride to work together and I showed him my handgun. He said it was a "sexy glock" and that's when it clicked. It amazed me that he didn't know it was a brand name.

Our oldest, who is current active duty, about to be a veteran swore to me that my Springfield Armory XD, is a Glock. I told him over and over, it wasn't. I even went and got it (safe first, obviously) to prove it to him and while looking at it, he swore... it was a Glock. I showed him the logo on top of the slide, he swore it was a Glock. This is why... I hate Glocks. Well, that and I don't like shooting them... don't like the grip profile and the way they sit in my hand.

nutnfancy's primary philosophy is to avoid talking about jeff cooper, 1911's, the fact that HK dominated military contracts over Glock for 2 full decades, hi-cap 1911's.... and his #1 and #2 most reviewed brands are ruger and kel tec.... consequently in 2014 Ruger acquired Kel Tech. Nutn is also big on smith wesson and walther products (they have a strategic alliance).... so when nutn says he's unbaised or not bought, think twice about that stupid Glock Fanboy. You have to be a glock fanboy to review a Glock knife before something iconic like a spyderco police model. Take for example nutnfancy's primary "close to engage" series where if you look up jeff cooper and his color-coding of threat levels, nutnfancy directly references that without attributing it to jeff cooper or giving credit where it was due. Likewise with nutnfancy whenever discussing "the scout rifle concept" he ducks and avoids jeff cooper as quickly as possible. Nutn claims he isn't bought but his first colt review was an old police rifle a full decade after his channel was launched... I find it funny that nutn calls himself a "revolver guy" when he doesn't have a 44mag review or a .500 review or any python/anaconda reviews at all. It's like none of nutnfancy's friends shoot at all. It's pretty hard to shoot that regularly and not know someone with any of those guns. I find it funny when nutnfancy claims he _prefers_ SIG over Glock when all of his criteria are listed ergonomics in about 3 or 4 different categories and "value" is noted as in (X acquired at Z price = Value as in ignore overall Quality altogether because he always factors in price intentionally to bais to Glock) as well as the accessory market always being factored in simply because Glock refused to address the myriad of problems they've had including on the 5th Gen pistols still offerring plastic sights at which point nutnfancy balks at it just as he did in his early SIG video discussing the recoil spring that might break after 5,000 rounds... the same anecdote is given "most people will shoot only a box or 2 worth of ammo out of them so it doesn't matter" ..... yeah. Suck that up mr. average nutn sub. lol and we see every Glock model under the sun reviewed by nutn but do we ever see him review a P229? NOPE! Can you spell liar? I really feel sorry for ANYONE who takes nutnfancy seriously as he's the most toxic form of Glock Fanboy. Even on Glocktalk dot com you can google search for HK MK23 vs G21 and find out that when nutnfancy claimed in his G21/20 video that had the 10mm and 45acp guns reviewed nutn said he thought the Glock should've beaten out the HK MK23.... the pistol that basically invented and passed all of those tests before Glock Fanboys could try to reproduce them and at the same time actually offering match grade accuracy - something nutnfancy just loves to leave out of the discussion.... which is why his bullet points include "ergonomics" tactically spread out and talked about ad nausium. LOL even on Glocktalk dot com we find that the users there say "there is no comparison" HK is the ultimate pistol, period. As for nutnfancy giving guns a bad rap over weight it's anecdoted by Jeff Cooper that if you stop carrying a gun because of an extra pound of weight then you clearly don't understand the importance of exercising that right. So when nutnfancy docs points for that or "not enough firepower" as if you'll be standing in once place for 4+ full seconds to dump an 8 round mag.... lol your philosophy on such becomes bankrupt when your arguments revolve around ergonomics - I will note nutnfancy never reviewed or made light of a hi-cap 1911 either. Nutnfancy has to be the most (successful + dishonest) firearms channel ever. I'm not joking. But hey, don't take my word for it. Go find nutnfancy mr.knife channel first lol... go find his balison review. It won't even be one that you can swing open like a real balisong lol. As people have previously said about nutnfancy, "nice try but you still suck". ....and yes what you just might have read is only the tip of the iceberg.

OH MAN; I was coming to this video thinking to myself I couldn't believe I was giving it a view. Thank you for the story and speaking truth (whether it went one way or the other). Favorite part was when you said "he's doin his thing" and I couldn't agree more. It's that type of attitude of others that shows their underlying mindset of humanity. I'm glad to have come across your channel and look forward to watching more of your vids.

I have to say I just watched one of nutn's videos on fire starting and after watching him clumsily use a hatchet(probly would have cut himself if not for the mechanics gloves), could not use a fire piston with instructions and generally not looking very comfortable doing the tasks he was doing, I was thinking wow this guy is a real doofus but after hearing your story I can't help but like the guy a little more. I guess we didn't all grow up in a house that burned firewood for heat. All the tasks involved with that are like second nature, splitting, chainsaw's, kindling, starting fires and everything else I can't think of right now.

Cutlerylover, BRAVO!! I just came across this video you've produce from a search result of nutnfacny, as I have recently been watching many (soon to be all) of his videos and I share a VERY similar mindset and opinion on firearms, knives, and gear as he does. As a result of this positive video you posted, I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to viewing all of your videos as well. Thanks for being a stand up guy unlike many of the arses on KZfaq (sorry James Yeager).

My only real beef with Nutinfancy is that he's soooo long winded. I don't have the patience for 1 hour long You Tube videos. No doubt he knows a lot of stuff about all kinds of guns, and as a new shooter, learned a lot of things from him over the years. I followed nearly every recommendation he made for improving the Glock 17. I subscribed to his channel but rarely watch his stuff anymore.

I liked Nutnfancy for his knife and gun vids, and didn't mind a certain amount of political commentary, even when I didn't agree with it. What broke me was when he went full-bore political, especially after Newtown. When I say 'full-bore political', I don't mean he started putting his politics in everything he did; just that, after the first couple of political vids, I got where he was coming from and didn't need to watch more of it. I'm not jealous of him; I have no interest in putting him down; I don't hate him; I appreciate the work he puts into his videos, and the passion with which he speaks about things important to him. I simply unsubscribed when I thought he went too far into right-wing political commentary. He certainly can do what he wants with his channel; I certainly don't have to watch. Thanks for a good vid, Jeff. Keep up the good work.

Well, I knew this day would come. Computers have done exactly what I thought they would do, they have separated PEOPLE from reality. This guy talks and talks and talks, and what is the point?? On and on he rambles, and so does the other guy (Nut'n), what is the problem they have?? These young people spend too much time sitting in a room fiddling with a machine and have forgotten or never learned how to interact. Bunch of strangers "talking to" another bunch of strangers about nothing. It is one monologue against another monologue. This guy talks all day and does not say anything.

Anybody that doesn't like Nutnfancy and Hickock 45 has some serious mental issues.
@Arcrobes
@Arcrobes 8 жыл бұрын
I dont think I would consider what Hicock45 does as a review. He never states that he is reviewing something either. He is just a guy who loves firearms and is sharing his love with the viewers. The man must have fired hundreds of thousands of rounds throughout his lifetime, and even to this day he still smiles and gets a kick out of whatever he is shooting. That in itself shows that he is just having fun. @kashman24 's comment is pretty immature however, and unnecessary.
@rhall89
@rhall89 8 жыл бұрын
+bobby wasabi I would consider what hickok45 does more of overview a firearm and just sharing his opinion. he usually doesn't keep the guns that he gets, as he puts them back up on auction. I love his channel for the simple reason that if I want to see a good overview of a firearm I'm interested in, I can trust that he is going to show how it works and is going to shoot it. then I will go deeper into the rabbit hole for more info.

You can't talk about rifles and guns without thinking of why they are made ... I've never tried a gun ( i will because i like shooting sports like bows , blow guns , knife throwing , darts , pool , whatever is about aiming and precision...) . But we don't live in 1944 ... There is no war , so common people don't need things that can kill so easily to "defend themselves" from ghostly threats... And stop . You have one of the worst statistics of murders by gun there is no need to debate. Country without guns have way less murders . That's simple. I dont want to go to the market with grandmas and stupid sheeps carrying guns ... I don't want to have mefiance about people , I want to talk and have fun with them. Sorry 4 my english i'm a little bit tired so I'm searching for words i perfectly know... Ps : In my country if you love weapons ( like me... But not so much guns i like swords , i do a lot of nunchaku , not bad with sticks, throwing knives etc...) . People think you are an immature kid . And they are right i'm agree with them because i know myself. I understand it's a fascination from childhood ... Because kids think weapons make them mens ... I can assume and have fun of myself , AND at the same time being proud because i'm good with nunchucks... ps number 2 ;P : Guns have no glory , no honor... It's too easy .

Why do people have to be so negative? I like TNP and people who just say and do stuff is annoying! I like his videos because he gives good info, he shows the pros and cons. and he gives good info. but then you have people like TheYankeeMarshal. That guy just talks a lot and does not show anytihnig to back up what he is saying. I pointed this out to the guy and he verbally attacked me and was mad because my Kel-tecs work. I did not attack him back because I am not that kind of person. But if you are going to make an accusation you should back up what you are saying. Not call people names and call something trash without proof.
