I loved that book, I came away with the odd feeling like it changed my life but I couldn't put my finger on how or why.

I came away with similar feelings as well. For me, I think it's because Murakami is trying to understand the things that make up a big part of who he is. He communicates the process he went through and what he learned so well that it made me want to come to understand myself better.

Great video! As a road marathoner for the past 5 years, I'm always looking for new tips on motivation, getting stronger and preventing dreaded injuries. It's amazing how some books are beyond informational, but they truly motivate. Your post is very inspirational. As a fellow KZfaqr, I love sharing my knowledge and experiences to help other runners. I loved it! I am a huge fan of Murakami. I am not sure if you have finished Kafka on the shore. But please do! It's a gem!

nice review I finished the book last week and I was relay inspired So I bout running shoes an I ran twice since then and it actually felt great I am a big Murakami fan if you want suggestion on some easy and short entry books i recommend "Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki" and "Norwegian Wood"
