So, I thoroughly love being a mom. I harp on the good more than the bad. I am a single mom and you’ll never hear me complain about being a mom because it’s a joy! I think had I stayed with her dad, I would maybe have a different perspective because he made me miserable. Even the challenging moments are a blessing because they teach me to be a better mom.

Great guest!! I love Remy's spirit! She's so kind, warm-hearted and gentle. Her experiences are so relatable and I appreciate her appearance this episode. I don't hear much about natural births and I can't stand that, I want to hear more about others after birth, etc... There's no experience like it and it should be discussed more these days. There's so much fear surrounding such a beautiful experience. ❤ Chey, your potty story is hilarious! My son(19mts) has been potty training himself. He is pulling his diaper off several times a day boy so there are many WTFs throughout my week. R, there is always so much going on but when you are living optimistically, you tend to see the bright sides. In this current unfavorable chapter you're in, maybe try to think of the blessings, you had somewhere to go and a way to pick back up in what now seems like the worst situation to be in. You also have a village when many don't. You are blessed, count them and speak about those to attract more. ❤

Amazing episode, I wanted to talk about the point of “only being told the negatives” about having kids. I used to think that too but then my mom explained it to me as she wants me to be most prepared. Unexpected good things are usually embraced and bring ease. Unexpected challenges do not, so she wants me and whoever else isn’t a mom yet to know the realm of possibilities of what may happen when you have kids so that you can be as prepared as possible or not have any regrets!

I think talking about parenthood should be a split of the positive and negative. I think that people should understand how hard it is to be a parent as well as how fulfilling and enjoyable it is.

Prayers sent to Courtney and her family. I pray that should no miracle from God come forward, I pray that her family finds the strength to allow her memory to live on via scrap books and home videos. But, God is not done yet. Some people live for years after a terminal diagnosis so I’m going to pray God shows up and shows out for her.
