really remember the day I went downstairs and saw on the newspaper on the doormat that Robbie was coming back, it was just pure delight. I’ll never really understand why he hardly played for England, such a brilliant finisher.

I’d say it’s now a job to players where as in the 60-70-80-90’s it was a passion and more like a privilege to play football in the higher leagues. Today the lifestyle is more important than the career

I'm a Man Utd fan, and it was this man Mr Fowler that made me snap out of it and learn that u had 2 take defeat on the chest, 1995/96 season" i was only 20 yr young, Pool vs Utd, BANG-BANG...Fowler strike's twice and the Pool win 2-0, and i alway's remember it was then that i stopped goin around in a huff for day's after a match if Utd lost, so ye, that's my wee story about Mr Fowler, and has 2b said he was definitely 1000% one of the TOP TOP finisher's 2 ever play in the Prem Lge

Fowler was the most naturally gifted finisher the Premier league has ever seen. I remember being at Liverpool in the Kop end when he used to smash goals in every week!!

I named my first pet Robbie. The best goldfish I ever had. Some of these kits though... So annoyed I sold them at a car boot when I out grew them. The 95’ home and away. I’ll have to hunt them down on eBay!

I have enjoyed watching this series and in the Gary Linekar episode for example they show and talk about all the kits he wore and teams he played for. It's obviously called 'what i wore' Robbie Fowler played for Liverpool, Leeds, Man City, Cardiff, Blackburn. North Queensland and Perth in Australia and Muangthong United in Thailand strangely enough. Yet this episodes talks only of ,and only shows kits from, his two spells at Liverpool and very briefly mentions in passing 'United' presumably Leeds.
