What if Jar Jar barged into Palpatine's office during ROTS and bumped into Anakin causing him to trip and kill Palpatine?

Palps - "How is this possible? How can this be?!" Anakin - "The light side of the force is a pathway to many abilities that some consider to be..." Palps *scoffs* - "Hush, boy!" But, for real, there would be such an epic exchange between Palpatine and an uncorrupted Anakin, at this point in the timeline. This was a fun what-if! Well done 👏

I believe the light of Anakin Skywalker would have been a beacon in the force. Yoda and Sidious at the very least would have felt his presence, given how powerful they are. They might not know who the presence is but they would feel his arrival all the same.

Yoda: going, where are you? Anakin: to the future to destroy my evil sith lord 45 year old self. Any future items you want? Yoda: milk, can you pick up on the way home?

This was a phenomenal version of Star Wars. I wish this was actually a movie. Awesome.

This should have really been a longer, multi-part series. Clone Wars Anakin being sent to the future, becoming part of the Rebellion and eventually working alongside Luke and Leia would probably be much more cinematic.

What if Luke and Leia traveled back in time to stop the rise of Darth Vader and the Empire.

Vader: Is that me? Is that me stronger than me? I'll kill me!

I love how you splitted Anakin into two parts where things occurred as they did in the original continuity with one and another who was fighting to bring balance to the Force. I would love to see a reverse version of this where Post ROTJ redeemed Vader time travels to before TPM and deal with Sidious and Plagueis both. Perhaps he could train Anakin into finding inner balance and serve as his father figure and free Shmi as well.

Disney should be taking notes. I love this story you’ve made, it should be a movie. This is “the Way” to forget the sequels were made 😅

I loved this alternate reality. Anakin's story was one of pain where he was created and cursed from the beginning to never truly have happiness. This seems a better end for him.

Wow what an amazing story of Anakin finding his way back to the light and not letting that evil future come to pass again after seeing the damage done.

I love this story. I love that Anakin got to see exactly everything and destroyed his dark self in order to become a true Jedi Master.

First of all, this is THE most amazing alternate version story I've seen. Second, if it came down to end of Clone Wars Anakin Skywalker vs. Prime (~18 - 9 BBY) Darth Vader, I think Anakin has the upper hand by A LOT. Given that this version of Anakin is fully aware of Darth Vader being a fallen version of himself, Anakin would already know exactly what he's thinking and how he fights. And while Vader is immensely strong, physically (thanks to the cybernetics and suit), his power in the force is severely diminished, even with the dark side's power. But Anakin, still completely intact (aside from his one hand lost) is immeasurably stronger than Vader in the force. Anakin is in his prime, faster, stronger in the force, and now driven by factual knowledge of what he WILL become and what WILL happen to the Jedi and the Galaxy if he fails. Vader in his prime is a monster... strong both physically and in the force, but only a fraction of what he once was. Anakin and Vader know every move they could make. Every move they *would* make. But Vader always had one major weakness: himself (or rather, who he used to be). That flicker of light that is Anakin Skywalker always remained within Vader, though hidden away, ashamed of his dark deeds and failures. And only when that flicker of light was brought back to the surface would Vader be defeated. And remember, Vader was ALWAYS motivated by Padme, and later by the knowledge he had a son. Even as Vader, the ones he loved were always the things he thought about first and foremost. Vader would definitely see a somehow-returned Anakin as a chance to save Padme. He would take it.

I think that's a story George Lucas himself would appreciate and applaud.

Wow 😢 this an was AMAZING time-line, your best story yet. It was spellbinding, captivating and I absolutely teared because this was well-conceived. Anakin did suffer as Darth the entire time, wishing he could have reverted this horrible fate that he had fallen to. Having this chance was brilliant, defeating yourself to allow yourself redemption. I wish that this had been an alternative timeline in SWs because this was really a BEAUTIFUL story. Thank you ❤

This was beautiful. A welcome 33rd birthday present to come home to after work. And....I have a What if: What if the banks the Republic used collapsed, and a new currency needed to be created?

What if Ahsoka was able to bring Anikan physically out of Vader in her fight on Malacor? (Repost of an expansive comment) Imagine this. The part that is Anikan has been waiting in a council chamber, in Vader's mind all these years. Instead of fighting Vader after she saves Ezra, Ahsoka deactivates her sabers and kneels before him. The ultimate trusting in both the Force and Anikan. And she is rewarded for it in ways no one, not Yoda, not Obi-Wan, not Sidious could have ever possibly imagined! Vader only struggles for a minute and is about to strike Ahsoka down when Ahsoka's spirit owl, the Morai flies into Darth Vader! Up until this moment the small part that is still Anikan has been wandering in a shadow Jedi temple looking for a way out. But only hearing voices and battles that elude him as he turns corner after endless shadowy corner. Until this moment of supreme need that the remnant of the light side flies into Vader and that sliver of Anikan sees a door in the shadow Jedi temple emblazed in light. And he walks through. Now for the fun part. Just as Darth Vader is about to strike Ahsoka down an arm comes out Vader's arm, holding him back. And to the utter shock of both Vader and Ahsoka Anikan Skywalker emerges, a living physical being, from Vader to save Ahsoka! He is older, he is extremely confused. But he is actually Anikan Skywalker. Now is that not a chosen one thing to do? At this point the temple begins to collapse and our Ahsoka, thanking the Force, gets Anikan out of there as Vader flees as well. Now we have a real interesting story. Vader is truly free of Anikan and becomes the true chosen one of the dark side. Finally able to achieve his full horrible potential. Very bad for the good guys and possibly Sidious as well. Suit upgrade? And Anikan is able to truly commit to the light. I imagine Obi-Wan, Sidious and Yoda would feel this shock wave in the force. Anikan will have to brought up to speed and it will suck. You wake up after a fifteen year nap to discover your Jedi order, your Republic and your wife is gone and decisions a version of you took caused all of it. But on the other hand the rebel alliance has just been handed a game changer. Anikan Skywalker, hero of the clone wars, Jedi Knight Supreme, General and inspiring leader returns to train padawans, lead rebels and bring hope to the Galaxy; literally back from the dead! Every clone left will flock to the rebel alliance to be led into battle by general Skywalker! Ezra's light Saber skills are about to get a major upgrade. Maul's going to have a bad day? The basics of this new timeline alone are fascinating. Will Anikan find Obi-Wan and get his light Saber back..., and meet his son! What about Leah? What sort of relationship will an adult Ahsoka end up having with this version of Anikan. After all he may still be a jedi..., but she isn't. My apologies for writing a novel here.

This was great ! Loved it Anakin did see his future but the father wiped the memories of it from him. You could even do an alternate timeline starting at that episode of the clone wars and consider that the father allowed anakin to remember what he saw.

I've seen cartoons that feature episodes where the hero is sent to the future where his future self became evil and took over the world and said the hero has to fight his evil self to get back to the present and reflect on what he could do to prevent that from happening. (Danny Phantom, Megas XLR etc) I'm surprised Disney hasn't cashed out on that. But Anakin being Anakin, he would respond in the same manner as how he would to visions of Padme dying and end up making a mistake that would send the Galaxy into ruin again.

I am curious about the timeline left behind by the timetraveling Anakin. One second Obi, Ani, and Ashoka all sharing a smile at a jobe well done. The next this Annakin from the past either just disappears, slowly fades out from existance, or collapses.

For the record, Time Travel *is* a thing in...I think more obscure star wars stories? One of them involved a damaged Hyperdrive that sent the ship hurtling into the future I think, it's been a long time since I read about it.

If you didn't know, Anakin did find out about his fate and chose to embrace it before getting his mind wiped.

At first, I saw this in my recommendations and just thought it'd be a good video to listen to while doing other things, but this was really good. You have a great feel for the characters. I love fanfics like this that use time travel to show a "what could've been."

I have an idea for a future video: What if the Clone War reached earth during WW2? Basically the Separatists invade earth in the middle of WW2 for the planet's resources. The Republic finds out about the invasion of the planet and sends an army to liberate the planet. Meanwhile, the Allies and Axis Powers must decide who to join in this new fight. The Allies are more lenient to the Republic whilst the Axis favour the Seperatists. The war has now been scaled to a whole new level I hope you like this idea

This story was truly entertaining and heartwarming. A big part of me wishes your ending to be the actual ending, but at the same time, the tragedy of Anakin is what really makes SW truly touching. Thank you for a great "What If" episode :)

Ooh! A time travel what if! Reminds me of one I've wanted to see for a while now, but it's more of a time swap / split timeline one. What if Mustafar Anakin swapped minds with Kid Anakin? Particularly at the ROTS moment right before he says "From my perspective, the Jedi are evil!" And the TPM moment before he says "I saw your laser sword. Only Jedi carry that kind of weapon."

Brilliant story, always been a fan of time travel fanfiction. Another possible time travel story would be Ahsoka from after the fall of the empire, appearing next to young Ahsoka just after she is introduced as Anakins new padawan, with older Ahsoka retaking the name Fulcrum. I really think you could do this idea justice if you decided to try it, I wish I had the time or patience to make a full story of it without making a mess of it😅

I'm a sucker for these time/space stories in particular, so it's no surprise that I loved every bit of this one. at least, it wouldn't be to anybody who knows me 😊. But I feel like there still might be potential for time warping with other characters besides just anakin. Like what if that world between worlds was a nexus for time travel, & what if Ahsoka, ezra, &/or maul could use it to travel to the past or future? Or, what if this sort of thing that happened here with Anakin happened, but with Ahsoka &/or Obi-Wan instead? Like they were given the opportunity to change their fates by going to the past, or if they met past/future versions of themselves? Whom could they save? Whose stories would be altered? Would they even remain jedi, or become sith? So many juicy ideas right here 😍

I always wondered what it would be like if Anakin traveled to the future that the son had shown him, and tried to find a way to prevent it. Therefore, I am glad I found this video. Although, there are a couple of other theories that I can’t ignore: what if Anakin was trained by either Mace Windu or maybe Yoda? I feel that perhaps they could’ve helped Anakin learn to control the darkness within himself.

I do wish it was longer though I understand and appreciate that it's not an easy task. I'd just love to see a little sentimental moment for Anakin and Obi Wan where he expressed his appreciation and maybe Obi feeling some guilt for dismissing his love and worry for his Mother.
