Palpatine was the dark lord of the Sith Darth Sidious. What If Anakin was able to convince Darth Sidious to join the light? What would it take to get someone so evil and so vile to turn to the light? What would Anakin have to do to turn Palpatine to the light? How would the Jedi feel about this revelation? Would they be accepting or would they be rejecting of it?

The most evil and selfish man in the whole galaxy suddenly turning good. At first I found this concept hilarious and utterly naive, if not outright impossible. However, the way it was presented in the video, the way you gradually explored the idea, it all worked quite well! I really loved this story!

To be honest that's a pretty farfetched idea, though Sidious had some remnants of goodness in him in the end the Sith are simply unable to grasp the concept of goodness or selflessnessess, so Palpatine's goodness would always be a twisted evil sense of goodness and as such he would simply manipulate anyone who would ever love him since he just saw and understood love as delusion, however Palpatine did end up being helpful or good at times unwittingly and unintentionally always rationalising it as merely a part of his plan and that's the best he is capable like when he tried to resurrect Ezra's parents as a part of his plan to become God, still both Anakin and Palpatine could have this kind of relationship to some degree after Anakin's death and after Sidious finally died maybe his soul could be saved, so while Palpatine isn't capable of turning good he is capable of forming a twisted form of friendship and he could canonically protect his friends whom he would most likely perceive as treasured pawns but that's all.

This will be an interesting story. Personally I believe Palpatine has been steeped so long in the dark side that it's technically impossible.....but "what if" stories are good to dream about. Sometimes one story can bring about new ideas. :D

Well, This can only be possible if Anakin has such an ability as Purification but, if Anakin does not have such an ability then I am afraid he will not be able to help Palpatine in any way. We better always have more stories where Palpatine is a Force Sensitive Jedi In The Old Jedi Order from birth. I always love stories where Palpatine, as a Force Sensitive Jedi In The Old Jedi Order achieves more than as a Force Sensitive Sith. It's better for Palpatine to always have more positive roles than negative roles.

@@marikam2998 that would be interesting. Explore the Chosen One's powers. Never know what you'll find. Could be a surprise gift that somehow draws out the darkness in others. Much how it took years to turn Anakin, it would take years to bring Sheev to at least balanced. Especially since Anakin isn't always around Sheev.

It's true. Anakin is truly a surprise within a surprise. As for the exploration of Anakin’s Abilities, I didn’t mind if Anakin from the age of 9 became interested in development. Disclosure. And by studying his Abilities more than Mechanics. Racing. Space Piloting. And Lightsaber Combat, but, on the other hand if we for example, have a story in which Palpatine, being Force Sensitive Jedi from birth In The Old Jedi Orden will be Obi-Wan’s Master. Or Mace’s Master Mace who, will then become Master Anakin then it will definitely benefit Anakin as a Force Sensitive Jedi if he is trained by Obi-Wan. Or Mace who, was trained by Palpatine who, was as a Force Sensitive Jedi from birth In The Old Jedi Orden a not Force Sensitive a Sith.

Personally I’d say Yoda would be the most supportive of the Jedi if Sheev suddenly wanted to turn. Yes he’d be appalled at first to learn who the Sith Lord is. However despite his many flaws I feel he’s the most Jedi-like of the order. He’d recall the story of Revan’s redemption and see this as an example of how anyone can be saved from the darkness. This is however my own opinion of his personality. I encourage any Yoda fans to reply and dispute my opinion if they so wish. This is after all the purpose of the comments section of every KZfaq video out there.

If Anakin payed attention in classes he could have said "the sith were once jedi but their greed split the divide. Join the light and the order can restore to a more primitive time of balance" old jedi knew all sith teachings but didnt use them. Knowlege is power in the force

I have listened to some of the earlier videos where they were couched as "theories" more than stories, and I really appreciate the shift to "stories" that happened. I consider this a mirror in the fanfiction landscape to the sort of culture that exists on AO3, as this is a bit more grounded and doesn't have some of the common liberties and tropes that are deeply entrenched in written fanfic. Plus Pente's writers make sure the events have solid logic and character motives involved, which is just good writing at work.

What if Anakin had interpreted the prophecy as needing to destroy the Jedi and the sith to bring balance and didn't reveal the sith to windu. -edit Since no one seem to get what i mean and i also sparked a debate about what balance means i feel the need to clarify that Anakin would decide that teaching the force led to misery and to bring balance he had to destroy the idea of the sith and the Jedi. Idk if anyone is going to read this but Quigon jinn is my favorite Jedi.

To be honest, Anakin who, is exploring. And finds out the correct meaning. Correct understanding. And the correct interpretation of The Prophecy Of The Chosen One can be a really good story from Our Grand Master in futute because, Anakin who, possesses Mystery Solving like Robert Langdon From The Da Vinci Code. Like Hercule Paurot by David Suchet From Hercule Poirot Agatha Christie. And like Eric Bragg From The Charmed will definitely make Anakin's Powerful as a Seer more special.

Well, The Old Jedi Order was destroyed Lucas in Tthe Star Wars Prequels so that complete disappearance of The Old Jedi Order would make sense in the Original Star Wars Movies. Otherwise, there would certainly be no need for Luke to create The New Jedi Order.

I love how Anakin was able to bring balance to the galaxy in a completely different way. Thank you for this story. Day 27 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme, Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?

The main problem is Palpatine's strong inherent connection to the Dark Side. I don't see him even being capable of turning because of that, it's just literally not in his nature. But this is still an interesting what-if.

I like the story. I think experiencing genuine love somehow would indeed be palps only possible way to turn. But i can't see him ever joining the jedi. Palps would be one of if not the wisest jedi around the moment he'd renounce his old worldview. He has knowledge of every flaw in the order. Palps even if he would be on the side of the light would still believe the jedi order would need to be dissolved or re-imagined. So unless yoda actually would let go of his stubbornness and accept his aid palps would be like dooku pre darkside turn. Perhaps even convincing anakin to leave the order still. Starting a rivalling academy.

Thr irony that Sheev Palpatine craved (like all do) a Legacy. What to be remembered by Idk.. you couod be remembered as the most terrifying force user ever, the being to which all others bowed and cowered to in fear. And be remembered as a black stain upon the galaxy. Or, you could be the greatest champion of hope. The actual beacon of light the galaxy needs. Inspiring others to moce and act for the good of all. And be remembered as a man, beyond reproach and whos memorials.. choke up those who learn of and remember the man who saved... everyone. Theres no greater legacy than to be celebrated as a paragon of hope

Ask I've said for many years, friends are the family you choose, relatives are who you get stuck with by the will of the force, great story, well thought out and well written, it seemed very plausible and felt natural. Prophecies can be interpreted many ways, all based on the beliefs of the interpreter, just like truth depends on your point of view, so do interpretation of Prophecies. In this story, anakin does fulfill the prophecy just as he did in the original time-line, it just took a different format of balance

i guess Sidious suffered from Force Sensitive Illness called Force Reversal, a last resort of the force in certain timelines where the last darkside master gets infected through the force itself with light and start bugging the midiclorians and whills within the conciousness into the light, it's a fatal for a sith and there's no cure

Honestly, this adds more weight to anikans role as the chosen one and wouldve been cool to see this transition into them getting tested by the threats far outside the galaxy intoduced during Luke's run in the books. The breaking point being some far off mission leading to many of the more powerful Jedi to pass such as palpatine and yoda. Then theres a bit of a power struggle where ultimatey windu becomes grand master and anikan searches for more ancient power to take on the new evil forces while also training Luke and Leigha as Padme continues her diplomatic role and holds down the fort.

What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories. Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself. What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder. What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia. What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance. What if oppo rancis trained anakin. What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death. What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings. What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
