I know he is a movie Villain but I like the connection of how he came up with the Dark Ball and the relationship he had with Ash and his family

Ash with Voltorb is a nice pairing since it's Pikachu's Electric + Grass Types of several canon Starters.

I really like how you used special typing and brought Ash into a significant family. The way you left it makes it seem like his starter is going to be taken but I'm expecting his grandfather to be watching with his partner and save them both. Anyways grate part and I love it haha.

I really like how you connected the Iron Mask Marauder and his Dark Balls to Kurt and his Apricorn Balls, even some Hisuian history was thrown in, too. 🙂 Oh, so Ash's starter is Hisuian Voltorb, how fitting. 👍 Ash losing to Bugsy was bound to happen since he just got his starter and has zero battle experience. 🤦‍♂️ I'm guessing the difference Pokémon Ash catches on his journey in Johto will be in a different Apricorn Ball. 🤔 Anyways another really good start to this series, and will check out the next part.

It's an interesting story that you have created as always! Altho, there's things I didn't expect. Like how Ash Ketchum being born in another region would change his lineage to being the grandson of Kurt. That's basically two what ifs in one 😅. Admittedly that's not my favorite kind of what if. But you're still making it work I suppose ^^. Another fact I don't particularly like, is how you're using the game mechanic of limiting Pokemon to four moves. Pokemon in the anime are like living beings in our world. At least in terms of being able to learn multiple stuff and remember how to do them- a realistic approach really lol. So it kinda hurts the story with those limitations in my opinion. Outside of that tho! A nice story with loads of potential 👍. Interested to see where it goes 😀.
